'3 Idiots' gets 14 IIFA nominations

Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots has been nominated for 14 International Indian Film Academy awards.

The team behind the film, which broke box office records in India when it was released in 2009, will find out whether they have won at a special ceremony in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on June 3.

3 Idiots, which also starred R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor, received nominations in the 'Best Film', 'Best Actor', 'Best Director' and 'Best Actress' categories among others.

Saif Ali Khan's movie Love Aaj Kal will be fighting 3 Idiots for several gongs as it has been nominated in nine categories.
