Ronaldo 'mistaken for Jersey Shore star'

Cristiano Ronaldo has allegedly been mistaken for Jersey Shore star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino.

According to the New York Post, the footballer was confused with Sorrentino at Kenmare restaurant in New York on Wednesday.

One source said that another diner shouted out, "Oh my God, it's The Situation!' when she saw Ronaldo entering the venue.

The Real Madrid and Portugal star is currently vacationing in New York with his Russian model girlfriend Irina Shayk.

He made headlines around the world last week when he announced that he had become a father to a newborn baby boy - named Cristiano Ronaldo - but declined to reveal the identity of the child's mother.
