Although Lopez is known to be a diva, by all accounts, the negotiations have gone smoothly. There have been no outrageous demands. The deal should be finalized within a weeks time.
American Idol has hope for Jennifer Lopez. Ratings for the show have steadily been decreasing.
With fan favorite, Simon Cowell gone and Ellen Degeneres quitting after just one year, American Idol desperately needs an infusion of star power. Lopez may be the woman to provide it.
As of now, whether or not Lopez joins the show is just conjecture.
This was rumored to be the case months ago but nothing panned out. Looks like we’ll just have to hold tight and see what happens.
