Mori 'faces cuts from Indian censor board'

Barbara Mori's latest film has encountered problems with the Indian censor board.

The Mexican actress, who made her Indian cinema debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kites, will be seen next in La Mujer De Mi Hermano (My Brother's Wife).

A source for Mid Day said that the film, which releases in both Hindi and English, faced cuts from the censors.

"The Spanish version has frontal nudity and a lot of intimate lovemaking scenes. While the English version has retained some of those scenes, barring the frontal shot, the censor board is bound to suggest major cuts for the Hindi one," revealed the source.

The film, which released in other territories in 2005, has been given an Indian release after Mori's successful Bollywood debut.

In May this year, Kites became the first Indian production to break the US box office top 10.
