My name is Bond.......James Bond

Ian Fleming’s book series created a bang in the film industry with the creation of the James Bond franchise. Today, 007 encapsulates more than just a chic government agent – it epitomizes style, sophistication and thrill. The classic films are known for their eloquent sway of fighting action, drama and luring romance. From tech savvy equipment that introduced a watch with drill burning laser beams to an invincible car that became invisible with the click of a cellular phone button – James Bond made classy look tempting on a whole new level.

The film delineates a lifestyle, a trend that everyone the world over aspires to have with the latest gadgets, the branded clothes, the exotic travel locations, the extravagant spending habits and the undeniably hot female co stars that complete the package. Many a hot sensation including contemporary stars like Eva Green and Halle Berry have shared the screen with Bond; their presence adding poise and glamour. The lead female actor has always been an anticipatory factor in the eyes of the audience, and now rumour has it that Frieda Pinto might be the next Bond girl in the upcoming feature. A source said: “She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent. But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig’s arm.”

Speculations are rife that the British super spy will head to the glitzy Gulf emirate of Dubai, itself no stranger to real-life espionage and assassination, in a new book titled Carte Blanche, its author said on Tuesday. “This place is so culturally vibrant, so picturesque, so full of fascinating, multicultural individuals, in Carte Blanche, Bond is “a young agent for the British government. He was born, roughly, in the late 1970s, and the book takes place in the present day.” Jeffery Deaver said during a talk in Dubai. “This is an exotic city that is worthy of James Bond.” After agreeing to write the next Bond novel, “I knew at that point, at last, I had found a story to set in Dubai,” the book is due out in May this year.

Sex And The City was the last film that was shot in the UAE and disappointed fans terribly. Only time will tell whether the new 007 film will live up to the expectations built by its predecessors.
