'Gandhi to Hitler' to be released globally on July 29

After encouraging response at the Cannes film festival 'Gandhi to Hitler', a film based on clash of ideologies between that of apostle of peace Mahatma Gandhi and German dictator Adolf Hitler, is all set for global release on July 29.

Announcing the date for release of the film at its promo here last night, producer Anil Kumar Sharma told media persons that it would be released world wide on July 29 in both English and Hindi.

The English version is titled ''Dear Friend Hitler'', he said adding Raghubir Yadav, who won many laurels for the country for his acting, would essay the role of Hitler, who was responsible for the bloodshed in World War II.

''I had always intended to make a thought provoking film. When I was approached with the script of 'Gandhi to Hitler' I was spell bound. To encapsulate two enigmatic personalities like Gandhi and Hitler--with completely contrasting ideologies--in a two hour experience is undeniably interesting and impressive. This movie is definitely going to be a memorable experience for the audience as it carries a strong social message of world peace which is relevant in our modern times,'' Mr Sharma added.
