Lady Gaga pay tribute to Amy Winehouse

Lady Gaga: Amy Winehouse "Changed Pop Music Forever"
Feeling a special bond in that she had someone to draw hope from, Lady Gaga has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Amy Winehouse.

With the message coming on Sunday (July 24), the day after Miss Winehouse's body was found at her London home, Gaga wrote, "Amy changed pop music forever, I remember knowing there was hope, and feeling not alone because of her."

"She lived jazz, she lived the blues," Lady Gaga added of her departed fellow musician - of whom she had the utmost respect.

Along with Gaga, numerous other stars have continued to send out messages regarding the tragic situation, with a few of the many farewell messages below:

Demi Lovato: "Amy Winehouse.. So sad. Unfortunately the world lost an incredibly talented woman to such a powerful disease... addiction."

Kelly Osbourne: "i cant even breath right my now im crying so hard i just lost 1 of my best friends. i love you forever Amy & will never forget the real you!"

LeAnn Rimes: "RIP Amy Winehouse. So sad to see such a talent gone and her life end in tragedy. This makes me terribly sad."

Kim Kardashian: "I just heard the news that Amy Winehouse passed away. What a true talent. I pray she's in a better place & at peace."
