One of the most powerful females of the film industry, Kareena Kapoor wants to do variety of roles. If her last release Kambakkht Ishq was high on stylo-meter, with her playing a model, the actress’ next release Kurbaan will see her portraying the wife of a terrorist.

She wants filmmakers to feel confident that that she is capable of pulling off any role with élan. “The girl’s role is very strong in ‘Kurbaan’ and I have worked really hard on my performance. I’m expecting a lot from the film,” says Bebo.

Though Kareena belongs to the legendary Kapoor family, she had to struggle tooth and nail to establish herself as one of the fine actresses in Bollywood. The fame didn’t come easy to her and now with ‘Kurbaan’ she’s set to prove her mettle again. “I am so confident that in Kurbaan, audiences will take to my character in a big way,” says the actress, adding that the film will not only rock the box office but will also win her accolades from critics.

Directed by Rensil D'Silva, ‘Kurbaan’ tries to show the many faces of terrorism. Another reason why Kareena is so happy about the film is because of her pairing with Saif Ali Khan, her love. ‘Kurbaan’ has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Salim-Suleiman and is slated for November release. It also stars Vivek Oberoi, Dia Mirza and Om Puri in pivotal roles.

Apart from ‘Kurbaan’, Kareena will give a double-treat to her fans with the films 3 Idiots and Main Aur Mrs. Khanna.
