Shahid, Genelia sleep in car

Get your mind out of the gutter, it’s not what you’re thinking. But, yes, Shahid Kapoor and Genelia, the hot new couple in UTV Motion Pictures’ Chance Pe Dance, are planning to spend one night together in the cramped but cozy confines of a small car. Of course, it’s to promote their film in which both stars play strugglers, and strugglers — as Bollywood knows, often have to spend their nights in cars, on railway platforms, on footpaths and benches in public places, and at the gates of suburban film studios.

The two stars who are friends are going to live out their experiences by spending one night in a small family car. Reality television has nothing on this and, indeed, Bollywood too is seeing a film promo like this for the first time. True, they will be behind tinted glass, but Shahid and Genelia have both agreed to sleep in their seats before onlookers from midnight till day break without makeup, helpers and starry frills!
“Our characters believe in making the most of each day which is exactly what our attempt suggests,” said Genelia. Shahid, who has spent many an uncomfortable night between the steering wheel and gearstick, added, “It should be fun... Genelia is quite entertaining.”
