A war crimes court in The Hague has announced that it will delay testimony by Naomi Campbell by one week.
The supermodel was expected to explain an alleged blood diamond she was given by former Liberian President Charles Taylor on Thursday.
However, her lawyers asked for a delay which was approved by the court, and Campbell will now not appear until August 5, reports The AFP.
"The judges of SCSL trial chamber II have this morning approved Ms Naomi Campbell's request to postpone her scheduled testimony in the trial of Charles Taylor to Thursday, August 5, 2010, at 9am (7am)," said a court statement.
Taylor previously spoke out against the Campbell subpoena, insisting that her testimony would be "screenplay fodder".
