Doctors who met with Lindsay Lohan have found that she was misdiagnosed when she entered a court-mandated rehabilitation programme.
The panel of medical professionals will reportedly recommend that the Mean Girls star should be released after a maximum of 30 days.
TMZ reports that the actress's doctors at UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles now feel that Lohan does not suffer from drug addiction or psychiatric problems.
The physicians took her off all prescription medication and she suffered no adverse effects.
The doctors also believe that Lohan is not addicted to alcohol because she has suffered no liquor withdrawals since entering the facility weeks ago.
The 'Rumours' singer was forced to attend an in-patient drug rehabilitation programme following a parole violation on a drink driving charge.
