Ivanka Trump has revealed some advice that she received before her wedding to Jared Kushner.
The Apprentice star - who married Kushner last October - was asked by Kelly Ripa during an appearance on Live With Regis & Kelly yesterday if the ceremony had gone too quickly for her.
"It certainly flew but I got some great advice prior to the actual wedding which I really took to heart and spent a lot of time thinking about," she replied. "[It was] to be in the moment as much as you can and try to enjoy it for exactly the reason you just said; it flies."
She went on to say that another person had advised her to hold her husband's hand throughout the event and try not to get separated: "I think [that] was great advice because you can turn around and 45 minutes goes by - a quarter of the wedding - and you haven't seen each other."
The businesswoman also spoke about the current season of The Apprentice and the return of The Celebrity Apprentice, saying that there is "room for both of them" in the market.
"They are such different shows although obviously the format is similar," she explained. "[In] the regular Apprentice you have this unbridled feistiness which you don't see [in the Celebrity version].
"The celebrities have their fair share of brawls but they also are a little bit more composed. They have achieved more and are a little bit more confident in themselves, whereas with the regular Apprentice you just see them go after each other and it's so interesting."
The Apprentice continues next Thursday at 10pm on NBC. The Celebrity Apprentice returns to NBC in 2011.
