Justin Timberlake has reportedly begun experiencing hair loss.
According to In Touch Weekly, the singer and actor is "horrified" at his thinning hair and has kept it cut short in order to avoid embarrassment. He has also reportedly begun treatment in the hope of remedying the problem.
"He's keeping his hair super-short so no one notices," a source told the publication.
"He's using specially formulated shampoo to promote hair growth. He certainly doesn't want to go bald!"
Timberlake was apparently confirmed as the host for the upcoming Saturday Night Live season finale, which is scheduled to air on May 21. However, a tweet on the official SNL account announcing his appearance was later deleted.
He has expressed a desire to join the cast of the NBC comedy series on a full-time basis.
Timberlake split from long-term girlfriend Jessica Biel in March, and has since been linked to his Friends With Benefits co-star Mila Kunis as well as actress Olivia Wilde.
