Saif Ali Khan has bought the rights to a French comic novel which he said 'blew him away'.
The actor is also currently producing a graphic novel of his forthcoming James Bond-style action film Agent Vinod
He told The Times of India: "It's too early to reveal anything but this character has really blown me over.
"The detail, the story, everything is very edgy, very different from any other comic book character that I have come across."
Khan has previously played a Casanova comics artist in the 2004 hit film Hum Tum, also starring Rani Mukherji.
The actor will next be seen in the controversial film Aarakshan, which uncovers caste privilege in Indian government.
