Katrina Kaif has reportedly agreed to perform an opening sequence item dance in Salman Khan's Bodyguard.
The actress is using the title credits of James Bond films for inspiration, according to The Times of India.
"When Salman asked Katrina to be a part of Bodyguard, she didn't even blink before saying 'yes'," said a source. "But on hearing Salman's grand plans for the item number, Katrina got a little unsure.
"Salman's brief was simple, an item song for the opening credits that would put 'Sheila' to shame. Considering Kareena [Kapoor] was the leading lady of the film, Katrina feared that this might not go down too well with her.
"However, when Kat told Salman about her cause of worry, he said that he'll take care of Bebo [Kareena]."
In February, Kapoor dismissed rumours that she will not act with other female Bollywood stars, but admitted that she has to have "the best role" in a film.
Kaif wants the dance to be raunchier than her famed sequence 'Sheila Ki Jawani' in Tees Maar Khan, added the source.
A spokesperson for Bodyguard confirmed that the star will be looking at Octopussy and Goldfinger for ideas.
Himesh Reshammiya and Ganesh Acharya will be composing and choreographing the sequence respectively .Katrina Pictures Gallery
