Islamabad/Pakistan —A group of disabled singers enthralled the fun lovers of twin cities here late Friday with their live performance at Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA).
The musical evening with special persons was held under the PNCA’s programme Baithak to promote the local singers and acknowledge their services in the field of performing arts.
Disabled vocalists including Rafia Bano, Alia Rasheed, Noman Mirza, Shehzad Alam, Furqan Ahmed, M Qadir and Mirza M Abbas performed while a large number of fun lovers attended the show.
Alia Rasheed is a visually impaired singer who also teaches music at National College of Arts (NCA) Lahore while she got four year training of music from India with practice of Darpat Raag and has represented Pakistan abroad in various shows.
