Rakhi Sawant: 'I'm the original item girl'

Rakhi Sawant has said that no other actress can perform item numbers as well as her.

The Main Hoon Na star revealed that Katrina Kaif and Malaika Arora Khan's recent item songs do not match up to her work, Mid Day reports.

Sawant commented: "All these people, the Sheilas, and the Munnis... they aren't as sexy as me; they don't have my body, and they can't even carry off sexy clothes as well as I do.

"That's why they say that they won't wear this and won't wear that."

2010 saw a resurgence in item song performances from mainstream stars following the success of the genre in Dabangg and Tees Maar Khan.

Sawant, who last month announced that she wanted to insure her body, has recently moved away from film towards reality television.

The Maharastran actor was admitted to hospital earlier this week after fainting on the set of a show she was hosting.
