Other celebrities divorcing during the year were partners of 72 days, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, along with Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, Scarlett Johannson and Ryan Reynolds, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, and Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard.
Meanwhile, there were a handful of stars who had, fortunately, not yet made it to the altar before deciding to call it quits.
The floundering romance of George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis made plenty of headlines with Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez, Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard and Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper also among the couples no longer together at year's end.
