Ayesha Takia took a break to plan future

Ayesha Takia, who is making a comeback with director Nagesh Kuknoor's "Mod", says the break post her marriage was a practical step towards a secured future.

After marrying restaurateur Farhan Azmi in 2009, Ayesha got involved in his restaurant business. Salman-starrer super-hit "Wanted" was her last release.

"I had been working for so many years before 'Wanted', which did really well at the box office and I am thankful for that. I really took time to understand about the restaurant business," Ayesha told reporters at the unveiling of first look of "Mod" here Tuesday.

"I took the break because I really needed to look at the things from an outsider's perspective. As an actor, it helped me a lot."

Her love for acting inspired her to make a come-back, she said.

"For me, it's really about the craft and I enjoy it thoroughly. So, if I don't sign anything that genuinely excites me, I lose interest right there. I was fortunate that Nagesh came to me with 'Mod'," said Ayesha, who made her debut as an actress with "Taarzan: The Wonder Car" in 2004.

The 25-year-old, who earned critical acclaim for her performance in Kukunoor's "Dor", is all praise for the director for extracting the best out of her.

"Nagesh is one who truly brings out the best in me. He taught me my true potential as an actor. I am fortunate to get a chance to work with Nagesh, who gives me role any girl would die for."

"After 'Dor', I didn't think it was possible to do such a role again, but 'Mod' is the best film for me to do after a long wait," said Ayesha.

Set in a small hill station, "Mod" is a love story about two different people. In the film, she has been paired with MTV VJ Rannvijay.

Ayesha is in awe of the character she essays in the film.

"The character I play is amazing. She is matured, independent and totally opposite me. I am amazing (laughs) but not that independent. She manages her life. She has this clock store and earns her living. She meets Raanvijay and falls in love with him."

"She is unlike the character I have ever played before. When you do a Nagesh film, you really go into that detail about the character, her mind and her life. So, the character is amazing and I would miss her forever," she said.

Releasing Sep 30, the film also stars actor Raghuvir Yadav and Tanvi Azmi in pivotal roles.

Ayesha Takia to get rid of her plus heavy sized breasts

Gorgeous Ayesha would soon be losing the assets she has been known for. This Bolly-babe is having a lot of problems due to the boob job which she had done few years ago. After this surgery this gorgeous gal surely gained plus sized breasts but the actress is now thinking of reducing it back to normal.
Sources reveal that due to heavy sized breasts she is having a lot of pain on her shoulders. This is the reason why doctors have advised this diva to go through a surgery and reduce her bust size. The actress may have won best debutant award in 2004 for Tarzan: The Wonder Car, but in her long career of four years it’s only 2006 release Dor that her acting talent were been appreciated by both the critics and masses.

We would have to wait and see whether this surgery would bring luck back to her or it would affect the beauty and career of this wonder girl in some other way. Meanwhile the surgery is scheduled to take place in next month at Lilavati hospital.

Fab to Flab, Ayesha Takia to bid goodbye to films

Ayesha Takia has been the sweet innocent girl next door ever since she made her debut almost four years back. The 'innocent' image has been so dominant that Jag Mohan Mundhra the director of the Indian version of 'The Forty year virgin' where she was supposed be the lead heroine, is panicking after Ayesha revealed that she intends to settle down and not pursue her career further. First the other simple girl of B-Town Amrita Rao, walked out of his movie and now Ayesha's retirement plans puts him in a tight spot.He says that innocent girls in B-Town are rare.Yes, that's very true since everyone wants to be as bold as the Katrinas, the Kanganas, the Priyankas and the Bipashas of B-Town. It's truly easier for women like that out here!Even the likes of Minissha Lamba, Gul Panag who only did simple girl acts and even Soha Ali Khan have had sexy makeovers after they made not too many gains being simple and sweet. Now Ayesha's been lately fighting the flab and has appeared in plenty of inane films like 'Salaam-e-Ishq', 'Kya Love Story Hai', 'Fool and Final', 'No Smoking', 'Sunday' and 'De Taali'. But in 'Dor' she exhibited her talent, and if there were more chances like that, Ayesha might have shone brighter as an actress.Since she has a biggie with Salman Khan in the form of 'Wanted: Dead And Alive' and another Nagesh Kuknoor (who brought out the best in her) film 'Eight by Ten', chances are people might get to see something interesting from this cherubic faced chick again. And in the world of the not so innocent, the presence of a demure dame is highly required.
