Taylor Momsen suspended from 'Gossip Girl'?

'Gossip Girl' star Taylor Momsen has reportedly been suspended from the hit show.
As per Deadline.com, the 17-year-old's off-screen antics prompted an 'indefinite hiatus' following next Monday''s episode of the New York-based soap.

Momsen already had her scenes cut to three episodes this fall and her character Jenny will be absent for at least four episodes beginning with the show''s midseason finale.

Representatives for the CW network and producer Warner Bros. declined to comment, but sources confirmed that the peroxide blonde was leaving for good.

Momsen, also a singer with rock band 'Pretty Reckless', attracted criticism from 'Project Runway's' Tim Gunn, who played mentor to Momsen's character in an episode last month.

Gunn told E! News, "What a diva. She was pathetic, she couldn''t remember her lines and she didn''t even have that many. I thought to myself, ''Why are we being held hostage by this brat'?" the New York post quoted Gunn as telling E! News.

Momsen, a star since the age of seven after appearing in 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas', has recently attracted attention for her verbal attacks on fellow stars including Miley Cyrus and Rihanna.
