Lopez 'blames fame for Affleck split'

Jennifer Lopez has claimed that the media and fans are to blame for her split from Ben Affleck.

The duo began dating in 2002 but broke up shortly before they were due to get married in September 2004.

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, Lopez explained that the press attention surrounding the relationship made it too difficult.

She claimed that the pair felt "under siege for two years" but added that she is still fond of her ex-boyfriend.

Lopez also revealed that her husband Marc Anthony has a "different approach to fame" which makes it easier for them to keep their privacy.
