Mallika Sherawat returns to India in burqa

Mallika Sherawat has returned to India after working in the US for the past year.

The star is rumoured to have travelled in disguise on the plane by wearing a burqa, then changing out of it on arriving.

Before leaving the US, she wrote on her Twitter page: "Goodbye, LA! See u another day:) I'm goin home, to the land of Om.

Although Sherawat landed on an early morning flight, the actress appeared to be happy with the reception she received at the airport.

"The media (can u believe it? lol) +my fans gave me such a gr8 welcome home @ the airport,even at 2AM! I m humbled," she posted.

Sherawat is back in Mumbai to begin promotions on Hisss and start filming on Double Dhamaal.
