Miller to Sue Tabloid for Hacking her Mobile Phone

Actress Sienna Miller just confirmed that she will formally file a case against London Tabloid writer Rupert Murdoch who supposedly wrote an article about her private life after a certain detective has hacked her cell phone. Miller was not the first one who became victim of such act.

It turns out that hacking celebrity phone numbers is a trend in Hollywood and she just joined a long line of artists and high-profile figures who have also been victim of the same tabloid, News of the World.

Miller finally decided to take action after she discovered that News of the World’s private investigator Glenn Mulcaire hacked her cell phone primarily to retrieve her voicemails and contact numbers. Mulcaire already had history as he was already jailed for six months on January 2007 also for phone hacking. Fellow actors Chris Tarrant and Steven Coogan were also included in the artists as they claimed that their personal mobile phones have also been hacked.

As for Miller, the actress already had a negative history in another tabloid before as one tabloid published nude pictures of her last 2008. The lawsuit was dropped, however, after undisclosed damages and a written apology was released. Miller is currently working on a project in West Hollywood co-starring Kate Beckinsale.
