The 36-year-old told Triple M's hot breakfast on Sunday that she was "a really cr-liar" when host of the show pressed her about performing at the Olympics.
"I should have just said no," the Herald Sun quoted her as saying.
On being questioned earlier, about performing at a concert in London as part of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, she remained noncommittal.
"I don't want to confirm or deny any of it. But we are definitely getting together because we've got our Spice Girls musical coming out this year. So I'm hoping yeah," she said.
The 'Spice Girls' was formed in 1994 and broke up in 2000.
