Salman Khan’s 'Ek Tha Tiger' expected to cross Rs 300 crore at box office

It was reported on August 29, 2012, that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s "Ek Tha Tiger" may become the second film to cross Rs 300 crore ($ 60 million) mark at box office.

The movie has already crossed Rs 210 crore mark at the box office in India and there are reasons to believe that it may become the second Indian film to cross Rs 300 crore mark after Aamir Khan's "3 Idiots".

The movie has boosted Salman Khan’s image as the sureshot of the box office success.

Every producer wants to make a film with him to benefit from his immense popularity in Hindi films and make huge amount of money.

Bollywood Director Subhash Ghai has been gone to the extent of offering the Salman as much as Rs 100 crore, a first for any Indian actor.

Salman now joins the collection of wax figures at Madame Tussaud's in New York. In the meantime Aamir Khan, another great Bollywood actor has said that Salman is the number one actor in Hindi cinema right now.
