Amanda Seyfried finds intimate scenes fun

Actress Amanda Seyfried says she enjoys doing intimate scenes on-screen.

The 25-year-old said she felt comfortable shooting intimate scenes in the film In Time with co-star Justin Timberlake, as he had just finished filming his raunchy comedy Friends With Benefits, Us magazine reported.

"A lot of my costars have been sexy guys my age, and so, why not? I'm not going to pretend it's not fun. Justin was great - he had come from doing Friends With Benefits, where he basically had sex every day at work and so it was easy for both of us. We just kind of got it on, and then were like, 'That was good'," Seyfried said.

But according to the actress, Timberlake paled in comparison to Megan Fox, her co-star in the 2009 horror film Jennifer's Body.

"Jennifer's Body is my favorite movie that I've done. It was overlooked in theaters, but it does have a DVD following. I can't believe nobody wanted to see Megan Fox and me hitting it. For a young girl to say that about her own sex scene it must be because it's special.

"I think Megan and I kissed really well together. We have similar kissing styles and it worked. We got it done for the masses, and the masses still didn't show up," Seyfried added. Source

Amanda Seyfried: 'I used to feel ugly'

Amanda Seyfried has revealed that she felt "extremely ugly" when she was growing up.

The actress admitted that she lost confidence in her looks from the age of 10.

She said: "I was super-outgoing until I was around 10. I got a bit older and started getting shy. Way too shy.

"I felt so extremely ugly. When I look back, I was not ugly - I was cute and had a gap in my teeth. But I wish I could have enjoyed that part of my life and be more confident."

Although Seyfried felt self-conscious about her appearance, she explained that she loved performing songs at home.

The 25-year-old added: "Sometimes I would sing around the house for two hours straight, but I didn't want anyone to hear me up close. I would sing all the Broadway show tunes like 'Cabaret'.

"Our cat started hating me. He went from being affectionate to being almost scared of me. Our theory was that when I was singing around the house, I hit notes that hurt his little ears. That is what I tell myself anyway!"

'Thin obsession is twisted'

Amanda Seyfried has admitted that she finds Hollywood's obsession with thin stars "twisted".

The Chloe actress said that size pressures within the industry require her to adopt a strict diet and fitness regime.

She told AOL: "I'm in my mid-20s and I know how to look after my body on my own. I'm not going to deny that I don't think about it every day, it's always on my mind. I clearly like being fit, but it's not thin without a hell of a lot of work - I run and I exercise a lot and then I eat.

"If I have to diet, it's salad with protein, salmon and broccoli, no dessert. But what kind of life is that? So I work out a lot and I'm just pretty moderate about what I eat."

She added: "I have to stay in shape because I'm an actress. It's f**ked up and it's twisted, but I wouldn't get the roles otherwise. If I'd been bigger, I don't think they would have cast me for Mamma Mia!."

Amanda Seyfried says kissing Megan Fox was "weird".

The blonde actress, who locks lips with the stunning brunette in new movie 'Jennifer's Body', couldn't get to grips with being so close to a woman.
She told Britain's InStyle magazine: "It was my first time doing a real kissing scene with a woman. It is just weird. It is a woman. With a woman's smell - soft and floral-y - and maybe the pheromones are different. Something about it felt uncomfortable for me."
This isn't the first time Amanda - who is dating her 'Mamma Mia!' co-star Dominic Cooper - has had to canoodle with a Hollywood actress.
The 23-year-old star says the steamy embrace she shares with Julianne Moore's character in forthcoming film 'Chloe' stretched her acting abilities.
She explained: "I also have a love scene with Julianne Moore in 'Chloe'. When you are done with the scene, you just think, 'Oh God, I can do anything. I have just had sex with a woman!' "

She said: "I was uncomfortable, because I normally kiss men. Even in front of people, to kiss someone for the first time, female or male, is still awkward.
"It's also awkward when you're being filmed doing it. And then, of course, there's still the producers that get to watch that scene every day, and you're like - it's inevitable, men are going to get turned on. You know people are going to get turned on when they see this, because it's, you know, taboo."
Although Amanda felt awkward smooching Megan, she is not normally fearful of locking lips in front of the camera.
The screen beauty - who is dating her 'Mamma Mia!' co-star Dominic Cooper - added: "Sometimes I have a good time making out with my co-stars, male co-stars, because it's easy and totally, completely not real. I'm more comfortable with it, because I've kissed boys before in my life. So it's just more comfortable. I think why I felt so intimidated by Megan. Also, with a female, I was worried that she would judge me. It was also awkward because we're kind of pals."
Megan, 23, recently admitted she had no problem getting intimate with Amanda in the film because she feels "more comfortable" kissing women.
The 'Transformers' star - who has revealed she is bisexual - said: "I feel much safer with girls, so I felt more comfortable kissing her in the movie than kissing any of the other people that I had to kiss. I think she was extremely uncomfortable."
