Celine Dion has revealed that she struggled with "fatigue" after giving birth to twins Nelson and Eddy last October.
Speaking to the French publication Gala, the 'I Drove All Night' singer admitted that her recent pregnancy left her feeling out of sorts.
"Some of the first days after I came home, I was a little outside myself," she said. "I had no appetite and that bothered me."
Dion further explained that she turned to her mother Thérèse for advice on how to move on with her life.
"My mother remarked that she noticed I had moments of lifelessness, but reassured me that this was entirely normal… One moment, tremendous happiness; the next, fatigue sets in, and I cried for no reason, and then that took care of itself.
"It's for things like that after having a baby that mothers really need emotional support," she said.
Dion and husband René Angélil are also the parents of 10-year-old René-Charles.

Celine Dion Reveals Twins Names
Celine Dion recently gave birth to twin boys. She and her husband announced the birth of their sons, but did not initially release their names. Well, they have finally done so. The boys names are Eddy and Nelson. Both names have meanings special to their parents.
Eddy was named after a gentleman by the name of Eddy Mornay. He is a producer that has worked closely with Celine over the course of her career. In fact, he helped produce her first five albums which is pretty impressive considering how successful Dion’s career has been, especially early on.
Nelson, was named in honor of Nelson Mandela. Both Renee (Celine Dion’s husband) and Celine have been quite impressed with Mandela’s life.
Nelson and Eddy were both born early. Each weighed a little more than 5 pounds which is pretty good considering that the boys were twins and born early.
The boys were forced to spend some time in the neonatal intensive care unit. Though this sounds bad, its perfectly normal for these types of births.

Celine Dion rep 'denies pregnancy problems'
A rep for Celine Dion has denied that the singer has experienced problems with her pregnancy.
The star - who announced in May that she is expecting twin boys with husband and manager Rene Angelil - was rushed to hospital after having complications, according to a French tabloid.
However, Dion's team have insisted that the report was "completely fabricated".
"She's never been in the hospital – her pregnancy continues to be healthy and she feels fantastic," the spokesperson told People.
"As with most women expecting multiples, her doctor wants her to stay off her feet as much as possible as she finishes her pregnancy."
The rep went on to say that friends and family had become concerned after reading the story about her ill health.
"They've gotten calls from friends worried that something is wrong. To be so happy and then to get these calls, it's been upsetting for them when they are in such a good place," they explained.
"Their son Rene-Charles started the new school year last week, Celine's feeling great, and she and Rene are excited to meet the twins – they just can't wait."
Dion will give birth later this fall.
