The drama queen comes up with another excuse to not marry

The drama is not over yet. She was the modern-day princess choosing her groom on national television, but after taking the decision her mind is clouded by serious doubts. Rakhi Sawant is extremely confused if she wants to tie the knot with her man Elesh Parujanwala or not.

The hot babe seems to be coming up with one bahanadesi item girl. The next reason - he is not financially independent and can’t even earn a “proper living”.

Now, the lady claims that Elesh can’t cope with her sexy image. The hot item girl was quoted as saying, “On the internet they’ve morphed my face on naked bodies. Would Elesh be able to tolerate it?” She is famous for her sexy tag and every one knows about it, but Rakhi is unsure about Elesh’s reaction to her sizzling pictures available on net.

Rakhi doesn’t even want Elesh to be known as Rakhi Sawant’s husband just like her previous beau Abhishek Awasthi, who was better known as Rakhi Sawant’s boyfriend. One thing about which Rakhi is dead sure is that she doesn’t want another hen-pecked lover like Abhishek in her life. Elesh, who is a Toronto-based businessman and doesn’t have a house in Mumbai has to first earn a decent living and then only she will marry him. Until then, she will wait and may be find out further reasons not to marry him.

The couple is going to participate in another reality show ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’ that starts next month.

Can Elesh tolerate my nude pictures?

Rakhi Sawant goes into her second reality show from Wednesday. It’s a show about parenting with Rakhi and Elesh playing mother and father.

There’s one hitch. Babies give Rakhi a headache. “I’ve a migraine problem. When a child cries I get a severe headache. I don’t know how I’ll manage for a month with a stranger’s child. On top of that I’ve to cook on the show. I can’t cook to save my life.”

Ask her how she will cope when she has her own kids and Rakhi retorts, “Apna bachcha to har koi paal leta hai, jaanwar bhi. I don’t know how I’ll cope. I think I’m going to lose my cool completely.

So far people have only seen the good Rakhi Sawant. Now they’ll see the real me.Elesh returned from his sisters wedding on Tuesday night. We enter the show from Wednesday.

I don’t know how I’ll manage. This show is already giving me a headache. I can’t even use makeup.Can you imagine Rakhi Sawant without makeup?”

Rakhi was supposed to visit her reality-show fiancé Elesh’s home -town in Toronto. “But I couldn’t get a visa from the US to Canada. I had to really get pushed around for my US visa. It was impossible to get a visa from the US to Canada.

Elesh’s family was very keen to have him over. They came for my Swayamvar all the way to Mumbai.And I couldn’t for for them. But no problem. As soon as my new reality show Pati Patni Aur Woe is over I’ll visit his family in Toronto with Elesh.”

Rakhi says she’ll marry Elesh only when he becomes economically self sufficient. “It’s my life and a decision like marriage should be left to me only. Elesh may be the best person in the world. But he may not be be the best person for me.

I don’t want him to be another Abhishek Awasthi in my life. Yes, we’re engaged. I like him a lot. But how can I hand over my life to someone who isn’t earning a proper living? That’s why we’re going on another reality show to see whether we’re really as compatible as we seemed on Rakhi Ka Swayamvar.

I didn’t get enough time on him on that show. You and I saw his best face. Now I want to see the real Elesh.I want to marry a man who can support me. When we go to a restaurant he should pay the bill, not me.

In India wives are supposed to be looked after by husbands, not viceversa. He has seen how I live. I don’t want him to come and stay in my house I want to live in his house. I will wait for him to afford a house. I will wait.”

Rakhi is specially worried about Elesh accepting her sexy image. “On the internet they’ve morphed my face on naked bodies. Would Elesh be able to tolerate it? He’s broad-minded, yes. But God knows what he’d be like after marriage.”

She bursts into tears. “Mere dil mein bahut taqleef hai. Will Elesh be able to support me financially? I don’t want him to be known as Rakhi Sawant’s husband. Mujhe waqt chahiye. I feel I’m stuck in a stormy ocean.

I can’t climb the cross just to please public. I agree Elesh is educated and he comes from a wealthy family. But all of it belongs to his father He has nothing of his own in Mumbai, not even a home.

He needs time to settle down. In the meanwhile people are spreading dirty rumours about me. Ek insaan kitna bardaasht kare?”

Rakhi is disgusted by singer Mika’s attempts to make mileage out of her name. “I’m really tired of people using my name. I don’t want to give such people more importance. I’ve learnt the hard way how to be dignified.

Jesus has taught me to be calm. My good days are just beginning. Let me remind these publicity seekers that short cuts don’t get you anywhere.”

Rakhi says she’s going through a lot of trurmoil. “They are writing all kinds of things making up all kinds of quotes about Elesh on my behalf. They’re all taking advantage of me. I’m being used for publicity by so many people. Why are people doing these things with me? Jesus knows how much I’m suffering.”

Speaking on her former boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi Rakhi says, “I still consider him my good friend. I hope and pray he finds a good girl to marry.

If ever in life he needs me I’ll always be there. If needs me to be a dance partner in a reality show I’ll gladly do the needful. He has supported me a lot. I’ll always be thankful to him for getting my mother out of my life. That’s one good deed he did.

If Abhishek hadn’t been there I’d have not had the courage to break away from my family. I’d have been wallowing in mud. Aaj Rakhi Swant nahin hoti. I’d have been something else. I can’t even say what I’d have been.”

Rakhi thinks her good days have started. “I know Elesh is a decent guy. But is that enough? He has be financially independent. He needed a place and a face to latch on to, that’s why he came on the show. Abhishek Awasthi was so decent. But he was know as Rakhi’s boyfriend.”

All about Rakhi Sawant's fiance, Elesh Parujanwala

Instead of hosting a grand party following his win on "Rakhi Ka Swayamvar", 30-year-old Elesh Parujanwala is busy arranging a Canadian visa for his fiancee Rakhi Sawant, so that they can attend his sister's wedding together in Toronto.

"I'm heading back to Toronto soon. As of now, I am busy trying to arrange a visa for Rakhi. My sister is getting married on August 16 and it would be really great if both of us would be there. It would be like twin celebration for my family, " Elesh, who was the only NRI contestant on Rakhi's 'swayamvar', told over phone from Mumbai.

Last year Elesh set up an acting academy with his business partner in Kandivali, Mumbai. But soon "Rakhi Ka Swayamvar" came up and he decided to "probe into the real Rakhi Sawant" through the show.

"Nothing was planned about coming on the show. I guess, I happened to be at the right place at the right time -- that's all. Everyone had an opinion about her and I wanted to find out who she really is, " said Elesh, a Gujarati settled in Toronto.

So what did he find out?

"Rakhi aces all the categories that I ever wanted in my woman. She is simply genuine and I love that about her. When I saw her first, she looked stunning and gorgeous, " he said.

Elesh, who was among 16 aspirants who came to court Rakhi on NDTV Imagine's reality show, says it feels "amazing" to have been chosen as the "ideal groom". But he wants to wait before he ties the nuptial knot with Rakhi.

"We have decided to spend sometime together off the camera and know each other better. We have gotten engaged as of now, but there's still time before we get married, " he said.

And before the bride and groom do that, they need to brush up their English and Hindi language skills respectively. While Elesh manages to speak broken Hindi and a bit of Gujarati, Rakhi doesn't have a good grip on English.

Won't communicating be a problem?

"I can understand a bit of Hindi. And I mix up the vocabulary a bit, besides stumbling upon certain words, I'll get a hang of it soon. As far as Rakhi is concerned, I can help her with her English -- she can help me with Hindi -- and it would be a team effort. Together, I think we would make a good 'Team Toronto', " he quipped.

Rakhi Sawant bowled by Elesh Parujanwala

'Swayamwar' means choosing one's own husband by organising a contest. The word 'Swayamwar' was first mentioned in Ramayan. In this great epic, queen Seeta dares to choose her husband on her own. She holds a contest called 'Swayamwar' to choose the best man. After this incident Nowhere, no lady has held any such contest in the history. Now Rakhi Sawant has done it! She has recreated history of Swayamwar by holding a contest in modern style.

For a month, Rakhi Sawant held the 'Rakhi Ka Swayamwar', which was aired on NDTV Imagine. A total of sixteen contestant participated in the contest to win the heart of Rakhi Sawant. After participating in various competition, three finalist were left for Rakhi's choice. She was all excited to choose her husband.

All the three contestants - Elesh Parujanwala dressed in white sherwani with silver linings and petha, Manas Katyal and Kshitija Jain dressed in golden coloured sherwani with lot of embroidery work on it and petha, arrived on the show with their family members. The contestants and their families looked very happy, excited and nervous.

The show host Ram Kapoor had organised a grand gala marriage ceremony for Rakhi. Even members of NDTV pariwar like Ravi Kishan, Swathi Chitnis, Sudha Shivpuri, and Smitha Mohla looked excited. Among the guests Saroja Khan and Anang desai were special.

Finally, Ram welcomed all the guests. He invited the three contestants, who looked like Kings, to the stage. Everyone was on their feet to see Rakhi in her bridal dress and to know her decision. Then came Rakhi, who looked like a queen in her bridal dress and jewelery.

Ram allowed the contestants to express their last words before she hang her 'Varamala' to one of them. Everyone promised that they would always be her side and keep her happy through out the life.

Before going to the reveal her would be husband's name, Rakhi thanked NDTV and its pariwar for provide her a platform to choose her husband. She said, "While taking all the decisions of my life, I have surrender myself to Lord Ishwar. He has helped me a lot. Now also, I want to pray lord Ishwar and Lord Jesus before taking the biggest decision of life. Along with her friends Anju, Priya and Hema, Rakhi prayed the god.

Holding her varamala, Rakhi went forward to the three contestants. In order to create more curiosity among the them as well as audiences, she made to and pro motions. Finally, Rakhi offered 'Varamala' to Elesh Parujanwala. She revealed the reason why she has chosen him. She said, "I've been watching and examining Elesh from the beginning. His concern for me has been same on onscreen as well as offscreen. I understand that he loves me a lot. I too love him a lot. And I promise that this is not a show and I will be with him once for all."
