There will be no Jacqueline in Murder 3'

Murder producers have said that Jacqueline Fernandez will not feature in the third project in the series.

Mukesh Bhatt has revealed that he wants to cast a new actor to begin work on Murder 3, Hindustan Times reports.

"Just like the stunning girls we see in Bond films, we will have a new girl in every Murder film," he said.

"We launched Mallika Sherawat in the first film and Jacqueline in the second. Now, we want the audiences to ask, 'Who's the next Murder girl?' with enthusiasm."

Lead actor in the series Emraan Hashmi recently stated that the films could not be made without him in the main role.

Fernandez is reported to have angered producers when she opted to fulfill shooting commitments on Housefull 2 in the UK, instead of promoting the Bhatt project in Mumbai. The erotic thriller exceeded trade analysts' box office predictions when it released earlier this year.

Mallika Sherawat is extremely daring: Jacqueline Fernandez

Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez, who is starring opposite Emraan Hashmi in Bollywood film "Murder 2", is all praise for Mallika Sherawat, the lead actress in "Murder".

"I have seen 'Murder' and I loved Mallika's performance. I think she is extremely daring and that's something we can all learn from her," Jacqueline, who was here for a promotional event of energy drink Burn at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), told reporters.

"As an actress, it's so nice to see someone so bold, so daring and so brave and I think that's what she stands for, which is great."

According to reports, the 25-year-old actress will be seen in a bold avatar, doing some intimate scenes with Emraan in the film.

Asked to comment on the film, she said: "When you get into a field like acting, a lot of other things become immaterial. So if the role and the script demands something, you do it."

Jacqueline, who has worked in films like "Aladin" and "Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai", will also be seen in the sequel of Sajid Khan directorial "Houseful".

So is she becoming the replacing queen?

"I don't think it's a matter of replacing anyone. I'm in a 'Murder' sequel, which is a totally different narrative as compared to the original film. And 'Houseful 2' is also a completely different narrative from its original. It's got a completely different star cast for the girls this time. So it was not a matter of replacing anyone," the actress said.

"When people will watch 'Murder 2', they'll realize that it's such a different movie. So I don't think that they'll be able to compare even if they want to because both the films are not at all alike. If it was along the same story line or a continuation, then I would understand but here the situation is different," she added.

Jacqueline, who was crowned the Miss Sri Lanka Universe 2006, made her debut in Bollywood in 2009 with Sujoy Ghosh's "Aladin". She is happy of finally getting plump projects in the industry.

"This year things are looking a little up for me, which is great because the kind of movies I'm doing now and the kind of work I'm getting, I think I've kind of found my place in Bollywood," she said.

Jacqueline to play model for a Playboy-ish adult magazine

Is Jacqueline Fernandez shedding more clothes than ever before in Murder 2? The buzz is, the Bhatts are taking the erotic content in Murder 2 far beyond where they took it with Bipasha Basu in Jissm and Mallika Sherawat in Murder.

Jacqueline plays a centrespread model in Murder 2. Leave the steamy scenes of Mallika Sherawat in Murder behind. It’s time for Jacqueline Fernandez to sizzle up the screen like never before for the Murder sequel.

Apparently Jacqueline plays the centrespead model of a Playboy-ish men’s magazine. The role requires her to shed all inhibitions and most of her clothes which the Sri Lankan beauty, so far identified with frothy fun kiddies films like Alladin and Jaane Kahan Se Aayee Hai is more than willing to do.

Apparently Jacqueline has shown a keen interest in discarding her goodygoody image and is more than willing to go all-out for the role. Apparently director Mohit Suri has shot some never-before sequences with Jacqueline where she has shown much more just her histrionics.

Director Mohit Suri, currently helming the new-age erotica in Goa admits to the film’s high on the erotic content. “Murder was five years ago. Back then adultery and a wife stealing away to meet her lover was a big thing.

People were turned on by Emraan’s 17-18 smooches and Mallika Sherawat’s bare back. Times have changed. It takes a lot to shock and titillate the audience. And we’re doing just that.”

Mohit, however, refuses to divulge if Jacqueline has gone completely nude. “All I’ll say is she’s gone as far as the role demands.

Jacqueline told me, ‘My earlier films were for small boys. I want Murder 2 to be for the big boys’. She plays a model for an adult magazine, an Indian equivalent of Playboy. So you can imagine what that entails! Jacqueline has completely surrendered to the role.”

Murder 2 is set in the world of pimps, hookers and prostitutes. An area familiar to Mohit Suri who made Kalyug about an innocent girl being whisked away to a brothel.

“It’s a thriller exploring the world of prostitutes, transvestites, pimps and gigolos. It is not a film for the young. Jacqueline will be going far ahead of anything seen so far in terms of the erotic content, ” promises Mohit.

Mallika Sherawat was never considered seriously for Murder 2. Explains Mohit, “Bringing her and Emraan together again after Murder would’ve been too much of a repetition. There is a special challenge to making Jacqueline go into the erotic space.

Though Murder 2 is a sequel to Murder it has no connection with the earlier film. I’ve taken up the challenge of carrying a franchise from Bhatt Saab’s Vishesh Films forward. I made Raaz 2, remember?”

As for Jacqueline, here’s the thing. She has been working on improving the erotica level of Bipasha in Jissm and Mallika in Murder, hoping that Murder 2 would do the same trick for her.

One hopes when the pin-up girl gets into the act Mohit puts the pins in strategic places.

I am ready to shed clothes

Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez who has replaced Mallika Sherawat in 'Murder 2' says she is ready to shed her clothes if the role demands it.

"Of course, otherwise why are you an actor, " said Jacqueline when asked is she would be ready to shed her inhibitions if the script demands.

"Why are you an actor if you are not going to give your whole to a role. Otherwise don't be an actor that's what I think, " said Jacqueline while talking to reporters at the sidelines of 'Let's Design season -3' programme in Kolkata.

"Murder-2" is as a sequel of the 2004 movie 'Murder' - which had steamy scenes and was one of the hits of 2004.

"I don't know why people are actors when they are not ready to do it. If you are an actor you should be ready to do it. I am a serious actor and I am ready to do it for a character, " said the 26- year old actress.

She also fuelled rumours about her relationship status by refusing to comment on whether or not she is single.

"Why do you want to know?" giggled Jacqueline to questions whether she is single.

The three-film-old Jacqueline was earlier linked with actor Ritesh Deshmukh. "No comment on that either, " Jacqueline told reporters in Kolkata.

Jacqueline had earlier worked in 'Aladin' and 'Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai' opposite Ritesh Deshmukh. Her acting in 'Aladin' had earned her International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) award and Stardust award for best female debut in 2010.
