Zoe Saldana wants to start fashion line

Zoe Saldana has said that she hopes to design her own fashion line eventually.

Speaking to MyFDB, the Star Trek actress revealed her inspirations for her own future collection.

"Prabal Gurung has been a very good friend for many years. I am in awe of the way he has carried himself and his designs recently. It would be amazing to collaborate with him," she said.

Saldana went on to say that she likes "dramatic" fashion designers like Christian LaCroix and Calvin Klein.

"Calvin Klein has been such an all-American staple for me. I love what Francisco Costa does every year with his clean lines. His designs allow the woman in you to shine through. I have been wearing his dresses a lot this year," she stated.

The actress, who is also a spokesperson for Calvin Klein, explained that she wants her fashion range to reflect her unique style.

She added: "Our personal interpretation of art is what defines us and distinguishes us from each other. I think we should always stay true to that."

Spending the evening out on the town, Zoe Saldana looked stunning as she hit up BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood on Tuesday (June 22).

Wearing a Herve Leger by Max Azria Fall/Winter 2010 frock, the "Avatar" actress posed for pictures before mingling with fellow guests at Bing's Celebration of Creative Minds After-Party.

As for her career endeavors, Miss Saldana is gearing up to work on the Olivier Megaton directed picture titled "Colombiana".

The action/adventure flick is about "a young woman who, after witnessing her parents' murder as a child in Bogota, grows up to be a stone-cold assassin."

Can't Live Without Sex

"Avatar" actress Zoe Saldana has revealed her passion for sex and claims she cannot live without it.

"S is for Sex. Love it, love it, love it... can't live without it. I love sex. I love skin. I don't believe the body is something to hide. I think in American society we're messing up our kids by taking away the education on, and awareness of, our sexuality and replacing it with violence, guns and video games-and we're breeding little criminals," she said.

Saldana, who lives with her long-term boyfriend Keith Britton, says she is proud of her body and thinks people should be encouraged to take a greater interest in their sexuality from a young age to stop them turning to crime, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The 31-year-old star also admitted she won't rule out ever starring in a graphic sex scene in any of her movies.

"If you asked a painter, 'Are you going to paint in red?' the answer would be, 'I'm going to paint paintings and if one day there is red in it, there's red in it'," she said.
