Second masseur accuses John Travolta of sexual battery

LOS ANGELES: A second unidentified masseur has joined a $2 million lawsuit against John Travolta claiming the actor sexually assaulted the men in two separate incidents during private massages, according to amended court documents filed on Tuesday.

The second unnamed man, a resident of Georgia referred to as John Doe No. 2 in court papers obtained by Reuters, claimed that Travolta rubbed his legs, touched his genitals and tried to initiate sex at a private appointment at the actor's room inside an Atlanta hotel on January 28.

The allegations echo those of John Doe No. 1, a resident of Texas, who filed the initial complaint late last week and accused Travolta of sexually assaulting him during a private massage at the Beverly Hills Hotel on January 16.

"This second 'anonymous' claim is just as absurd and ridiculous as the first one," said attorney Martin Singer, who represents the Hollywood actor.

"Our client will be fully vindicated in court on both of these absurd and fictional claims."

Travolta's spokesman has called the lawsuit "complete fiction and fabrication."

The plaintiff's attorney, Pasadena, California-based Okorie Okorocha, told Reuters that since the initial complaint was filed last week, he has had many more potential victims come forward with similar complaints.

"I will file for every single victim. Mr. Travolta has been able to evade justice, and he's going to challenge it with me. but I'm not afraid ... I'll stand up to him," said Okorocha.

He said that the men did not go to the police because they did not think the police would believe them.

Travolta, 58, rose to fame in the 1970s on the television sitcom "Welcome Back Kotter," then became a movie star with hits such as "Saturday Night Fever," "Grease," and later, "Pulp Fiction." He has been nominated for two Academy Awards and has been married to wife Kelly Preston since 1991. (Reuters)

The 'Swordfish' actor was reportedly left stranded in Santa Monica, California, yesterday after a thief took the 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL - worth up to $100,000 - as he paid a ten minute visit to a nearby dealership.

John returned to the Jaguar dealer - where he had been viewing other cars - and waited for the police so they could make a crime report.

However, according to website TMZ, no suspects have been identified and no witnesses to the crime have come forward.

Motoring enthusiast John, 57, has a large collection of cars including a Rolls Royce, and a Jaguar XJ6 as well as vintage Ford cars.

He said in 2007: "I have a 55, 56 and 57 Thunderbird - American Fords in the great old tradition. I love the fact that they could achieve speed and distance with such style. I don't use them for long journeys any more, but to just enjoy the drive."

One of John's most famous roles, Danny Zuko in 'Grease', saw him race a classic 1948 Ford car named Greased Lightning in the film. He is also a keen pilot, holding a flying licence since 1974 and owning his own Boeing 707 aircraft. Source: Bang Showbiz

John Travolta-Akki to dance on stage together?

John Travolta’s visit to Mumbai at a time when Akshay Kumar’s retro John Travolta act in Vipul Shah’s Action Replayy is hotting up, appears to be an uncanny coincidence.

Vipul Shah has noticed the favourable turn of fortune too. His production team is right now busy negotiating with Travolta’s office to work out an audacious collaboration between Travolta and his desi counterpart Akshay Kumar.

Yes, the two will be dancing together at a live event. Vipul is in serious talks for this historic coming together.

Akshay Kumar who loves collaborating with international entertainers (Kylie Minogue in Blue, Snoop Dogg in Singh Is Kinng, RDB in Kambakkht Ishq) has also pitched in very strongly for an evening of collaborative Saturday Night Fever.

Akshay is apparently using his Canadian connection to convince convince Travolta to get jiggy on stage with the Kumar.

When contacted Vipul Shah tries to underplay the excitement of a Travolta-Kumar concert. “There are talks going on. But talking about it would only make things difficult. You see, negotiating with an international star is painstaking. Water-tight contracts have to be drawn up. Unquestionable deals have to be sealed. We’re in the process of doing all that. But like I said I can’t talk about it until the papers are signed. ”

While Vipul plays it safe it is reliably learnt that Travolta’s songs and dances from Saturday Night Fever and Grease are being handpicked as part of this historic live performance.

Let’s hope Travolta would have more to do in Akshay’s presence on stage than the other Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone had to do in Kambhakkt Ishq.

Travolta Drops Extortion Charges

John Travolta has decided to drop the charges against the Bahamians who were attempting to extort them in connection to their son, Jett’s, death.

The two defendants in the case, Pleasant Bridgewater and Tarino Lightbourne, had attempted to extort millions of dollars from Travolta and his wife.

Bridgewater and Lightbourne tried to force the Travolta’s (John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston) to pay them a large sum of money in exchange for them keeping the ambulance waiver in connection with their son’s death, under wraps.

The first trial ended in a mistrial. Instead of going through the entire ordeal again, John and his wife opted to drop the charges. The couple doesn’t want to relive the horror of their son’s death and the subsequent attempt at a shake down.

The Bahamian prosecutors can choose to re-file the case later if they’d like, but it isn’t likely since Travolta doesn’t want to continue.

John Travolta's dogs killed at airport

An airport service vehicle struck and killed two of John Travolta's pet dogs last week at an airport in Maine.

The accident happened on Thursday morning at Bangor International Airport, according to the Bangor Daily News.

"The airport takes safety very seriously," airport director Rebecca Hupp said.

She added: "Many flights come and go without incidents. Clearly, this is an unfortunate accident. Our deepest sympathies are with the family."

Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston were travelling to their home in Isleboro, ME.

The airport is reportedly investigating the incident.

Witness Testifies About Travolta's Desperation

The first witness has taken the stand in the John Travolta extortion case and testified John initially wanted to take his son Jett to an airport instead of a local hospital.

Police inspector Andrew Wells testified paramedic/defendant Tarino Lightbourne told him John signed a form releasing medical professionals from liability in order to take the dying 16-year-old boy to the airport.

As we previously reported, John thought it would take just as long to put Jett on a plane to Florida -- where he could get better care than at a Bahamian hospital. John had a change of heart en route and Jett went to the hospital, where he later died.

Prosecutors claim Lightbourne and former state senator Pleasant Bridgewater tried extorting Travolta, demanding $25 million in return for not making the release form public.

John is in the Bahamas and could testify later today or tomorrow.
