Forbes' top-earning couple with 6.3billion dollars

Harry Potter stars Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are the highest earning couple with USD6.3 billion dollars, according to Forbes.

Watson and Grint played teen couple Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series and have beaten the 'steamiest' couple Robert Pattinson and Kristina Stewart to the top spot.

The financial magazine then compiled the list based on highest box office earnings for each on-screen duo, reports the New York Daily News.

Viggo Mortensen and Liv Tyler of 'Lord of the Rings', who played lovers Arwen and Aragon in three Tolkien epics, reportedly earned USD3 billion for the LOTR franchise.

And Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom of 'Pirates of the Caribbean', earned USD2.7 billion at the box office, coming in third.

Back to the Twilight couple, Pattinson and Stewart managed to get USD1.8 billion for the 'Twilight' franchise since the first film debuted to massive success in 2008.

Grint feared Ron's death in Harry Potter

Hollywood actor Rupert Grint resisted reading the final Harry Potter book as he was scared his character Ron Weasley would die.

The actor, who has played the red-haired wizard since 2001 in the movie franchise, admits he put off reading Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows because he was terrified his alter-ego would be killed off, reports contactmusic.com.

"I think I was the last person to read it. I don't know why I didn't because I'm a big fan of the books, I've read them all. But I was nervous because I'd been hearing so much about characters dying and not making it through to the end. And I wanted Ron to survive," he said.

The final installation of the franchise will release in two parts. The first will open in cinemas in November and the second in July next year.

'I'd never strip on stage'

Rupert Grint has admitted that he wouldn't be able to strip off on stage like Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe.

The actor, who has previously confessed that he finds sex scenes traumatic, said that performing in something like Equus would take "courage".

He told OK: "I don’t think I could. Just being on stage would be quite a scary thing, let alone with no clothes on. It takes a lot of courage."

Speaking about his sex scenes in new movie Cherrybomb, Grint continued: "In Harry Potter it was just a kiss, really.

"It was suggestive more than anything. This was a lot more intimate. It was quite nerve-wracking. I was quite nervous about it."
