Kanye West Believes That VMA’s Caused Career Downturn

Kanye West seems to continuously have diarrhea of the mouth as it concerns the entire West-Taylor fiasco. It seems that he can’t stop talking about it.

I’m for one am fed up with it and was hoping that that the 2010 VMAs would put an end to the entire thing. Unfortunately, it hasn’t.

West is once again talking about it, this time in the XXL magazine and in his own words. Kanye wrote the article himself. He again mentioned that his storming the stage was not personal and was not about race.

At this years VMAs, Kanye attempted to make things right by singing a song he wrote about the incident. It was all about jerks. However, he can’t seem to get over it and this is in part is because he feels like it has negatively affected career.

West stated that he threw “…a Molotov cocktail at my own career, and it gave me an opportunity, for the first time, to go away and find out who I was. Because I felt very alone.”

Personally, I believe that what’s killing West’s career is the fact that he keeps talking about what happened. Most people had basically forgotten about it or are at least are trying to forget about it. He just keeps bringing it back up. Leave it alone Kanye. You didn’t kill anyone. Forgive yourself. It really wasn’t a huge deal in the grand scheme of things!

West and Swift’s Odes To Each Other

Though some people claim that last night’s MTV Music Awards were a bit of a bore, there was one pretty interesting element to the event, Kanye West and Taylor Swift’s leftover beef from last year’s awards.

I probably don’t need to remind you that West grabbed the mic out of Swift’s hand and proclaimed how great Beyonce’s “Single Lady” video was, after Swift was given an award for best video last year. Well, West has been apologizing every since then.

He even recently went on Twitter rants about how sorry he was and how he had this great song that he either wanted Taylor to perform or which he would perform for her. It looks like last night, he went with the latter.

West sang/rapped a song in her honor toasting up all of the jerks in the world. Taylor gave her own ode. In it she basically forgave him and referred to him as an “innocent.” Both artists were well received.

There were cheers and standing ovations for everyone. Maybe now we can leave this thing firmly in the past where it belongs. I am so sick of it!

Kanye Goes Wild on Twitter

Kanye West must have had a lot of extra time on his hands lately. It looks like he has been using it to get caught up on Twitter. His tweets have run the gamut of emotions, mostly however, they have focused on forgiveness and how sorry he still is for his the whole awards-show debacle with Taylor West.

Kanye stated that he wrote a song especially for Taylor Swift that he wants her to sing. If she refuses, he’s willing to perform it for her.

In all, West tweeted almost one hundred times in about two hours. He compared himself to Ron Burgandy, in the Will Ferrell movie, Anchor Man, claiming that he is hated just like Burgandy was. West insists that he is taking responsibility for himself and insisted that he was a good person.The last and final Tweet in this Twitter marathon, simply said “I’m sorry Taylor.”

I personally think its time for Kanye to get over it. He interrupted the girl during her speech. Though this was incredibly rude, he didn’t exactly kill anyone. Stating that he is sorry over and over just makes him look a bit desperate. Man up West, I’m sure Swift has!
