Kate Moss's beauty secret? Ice!

LONDON: Kate Moss has revealed the secret behind her beauty. When the supermodel can’t catch up on her sleep, she turns to ice therapy.

“To stay beautiful I get a lot of sleep. I love sleeping. And when I don’t have time for that because I’ve been out all night I just stick my head in a bucket of ice. That always does the trick,” thesun.co.uk quoted Moss as saying.
Moss hopes to live a relaxed life in London.

“I secretly dream of us all moving to the country. I’d love to grow vegetables and bake apple pie all day. That seems like an amazing life.”

Kate Moss 'upsets neighbours with £850k gym'

Kate Moss is planning to install an £850,000 gym and steam room in the basement of her home, it has been reported.

However, the move has upset some of her North London neighbours, who described the plans as "tacky" and an "affront" to the 19th Century mansion formerly owned by poet Samuel Taylor-Coleridge and author JB Priestly, according to The Mirror.

One local resident said: "Kate lives in a blue plaque property, commemorating the fact that Priestly previously lived in it.

"As well as a tacky gym and steam room complex, there's going to be a basement kitchen. I dread to imagine the kind of smells that will be wafting up.

"She's also planning on installing a huge satellite dish which will look so ugly on top of such an old, sprawling house, as will all these new-fangled cameras. It's an affront to the blue plaque."

Moss's gym plans are said to be part of a proposed £2.5 million redevelopment of her Grade II listed home, which also includes building a third dressing room, installing a giant satellite dish on the roof and fitting eight security cameras.

The model shares the house with new husband Jamie Hince and her daughter Lila Grace.

Newly-wed Kate Moss wants to buy luxury yacht

Newly-wed Kate Moss wants to splash out on a luxury yacht after falling in love with life on the ocean wave.

The 37-year-old and her husband Jamie Hince had the best time ever honeymooning on tycoon Sir Philip Green's massive boat Lionheart, reports Dailystar UK.

Now, the couple is desperate to buy their own yacht so that they can enjoy more cruises around and they have asked Moss' assistant to find out more information about boats on the market.

The couple have a budget of around 2 million pounds for their new dream.

"Kate and Jamie fell in love with life at sea. Kate really enjoyed the privacy on board and the fact that she could just cruise from island to island. They now want to splash out on their own and invite all their friends on board for one hell of a time," said a friend.

Kate Moss, Jamie Hince wedding 'cost £1m'

Kate Moss's wedding to Jamie Hince reportedly cost £1m.The three-day event is said to have included a masked ball, acrobats, a £10,000 five-tier cake and a fountain of Cristal champagne.

The supermodel also organised her own mini-festival for Saturday, with performances from Shirley Bassey, Snoop Dogg, Iggy Pop, Bryan Ferry and Beth Ditto.

"Kate didn't mind paying for it because she wanted to thank all her friends and family who have stuck by her during some pretty rough times," a source told the News of the World. "Her dad Peter gave £50,000 and Sir Philip Green is meant to have made a very generous offer to help pay for the wedding as well. Not that Kate needs the money.

"It was very Kate. There was a huge chest of handmade Venetian masks that all had incredible detail and weird images on them. There was baroque music, performing acrobats and a table of Venetian cuisine. There was a fountain of Cristal champagne that was incredible.

"And Jamie had a station serving wine from the Côtes du Rhône. His rocker friends are also very fussy eaters so he made sure that there was a separate vegan and fish menu available. There was a dedicated children's marquee with a team of ten nannies and two drama teachers to put on plays."

Guests at the reception, which took place at Moss's Cotswolds farmhouse, included Sir Paul McCartney, Jude Law, Sadie Frost, Meg Matthews and Naomi Campbell.

Moss also sent bottles of champagne and thank you notes to local residents, after nearby roads were closed for the occasion.

World’s top five models do not include Bundchen, Moss or Schiffer

Gisele Bundchen, Kate Moss, and Claudia Schiffer may be well known, but their names do not figure anywhere on the list of the world’s top five most in-demand models by industry standards. The list features rather less familiar names like Anja Rubik, 26, Freja Beha Erichsen, 23, Lara Stone, 27, Abbey Lee Kershaw, 24, and Constance Jablonski, 20, the Daily Mail reported. The five alone have collectively appeared on 265 magazine covers, walked 232 catwalk shows and have 115,000 Twitter followers. A survey by Fashion Spot showed, Polish model Rubik was the most in-demand girl between April 2010 and April this year, and she has posed on an impressive 59 magazine covers, and appeared on 43 designers’ runways. But that is a small workload compared to Constance Jablonski, 20, who walked for an impressive 83 designers in the past year alone. That is in addition to appearing on 46 magazine covers. Lara Stone, the Dutch-born model wife of comedian David Walliams, ranked third in the list, but due to her contract with Calvin Klein, her appearances have been fewer than her peers, with only two runway shows and 47 magazine covers. Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen is one of the industry’s most popular names, having landed high-profile campaigns for Chanel and Valentino. In addition to appearing on 65 different covers and in 51 shows, she also starred in a short film by Karl Lagerfeld. Melbourne-born Abbey Lee Kershaw rounds out the top five. She has also modelled for Chanel, as well as Tom Ford, and has been hailed Australia’s biggest model export since Elle Macpherson. daily times monitor

Kate Moss marries rocker Jamie Hince

(PEOPLE.com) -- Kate Moss has had plenty of practice walking down runways -- but when it comes to walking down the aisle, the supermodel had her first experience on Friday.

Moss, 37, tied the knot with fiancé Jamie Hince near her Cotswold, England, home. Police monitored roads surrounding the model's home, which was barricaded for the festivities. Celebrations will continue there over the weekend, for a days-long party dubbed by the media as "Mosstock."

Following a ceremony at St. Peter's Church in Southrop, the bride and groom posed for pictures with her 12 bridesmaids, including her daughter Lila Grace, 8.

The bride wore a cream, vintage-style dress with rhinestone detail, reportedly by John Galliano, while the groom donned a light blue Yves Saint Laurent suit, striped shirt and patterned tie.
The couple's mutual friend Sadie Frost first introduced Moss to The Kills rocker backstage at his concert in 2007. They were engaged in February 2011.

This engagement is not a first for Moss, who split from troubled rocker Pete Doherty shortly before she met Hince.

Kate Moss changes wedding date

Supermodel Kate Moss has changed her wedding date to July 1 after originally planning to wed rocker Jamie Hince July 2.

The British model has left her 300 guests confused with a cryptic invitation that gave no reason why the nuptials have been changed, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"I received a piece of white card with silver writing on it. It read, 'Kate Moss and Jamie Hince will be marrying pm Friday July 1. Save the date'," said a guest.

"The date has shifted but there's no information about where the wedding is, how many days, nights, etc. Kate's doing her usual secret mission stuff but it's not so funny when the wedding's just four weeks away," he added.

Kate Moss 'buys own engagement ring'

Kate Moss reportedly paid for the ring that boyfriend Jamie Hince proposed with.

The supermodel, who has apparently amassed a £45m fortune during her career, allegedly wanted a ring out of The Kills guitarist's price range, meaning that he had to use money she had given him to build a recording studio.

"Jamie has virtually no savings but did make a contribution for the ring," a source told the Daily Star. "They joke about how dependent he is on her. Kate even calls herself his 'Sugar Mummy'. Kate wanted a ring fit for a princess but Jamie knew he couldn't afford to get her dream ring.

"He was desperate to surprise her so he used money she'd given him to build his recording studio. That way she paid for the biggest chunk of it, but him popping the question still came out of the blue. He even designed it based on her heroine Zelda Fitzgerald's ring.

"Jamie knows there really is no matching Kate's wealth. She knew the type of ring she wanted. Getting engaged to Jamie is a special time for her and she wanted the ring to be just as special and so out came the Moss cheque book. Jamie loves her and that's what matters to Kate."

It was recently reported that Moss is planning a "mini-Glastonbury" for her wedding reception in July.

Kate Moss wildly wobbly at YSL bash in Paris

Kate Moss was apparently wildly unstable at the Yves Saint Laurent runway show after-party in Paris this week and had to be helped up several times.

Witnesses said the supermodel showed up late for the YSL bash at Le Trianon on Monday.

She appeared unsteady as she walked up to the front of the room near the stage, where a rock band performed.

"She danced so hard that she had to be helped up several times by security. She went a little crazy," the New York Post quoted a witness as saying.

Kate Moss to design her own wedding dress

Supermodel Kate Moss will be designing her own wedding gown as she prepares to walk down the aisle with guitarist Jamie Hince in July.

Designer Vivienne Westwood, 70, who is a close friend of Moss for 15 years, let the secret slip last week, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Asked if she had been approached to create the wedding dress, Vivienne said: "No, I think she's designing it herself. She has done her own fashion range and she knows about clothes. She knows what she is doing, she doesn't need my help."

"Kate is a mate. I've known her for years and I'm really happy for her," she added.

Moss earlier sold her own fashion range through High Street chain Topshop. She and Hince have been together for three-and-a-half year, but became engaged only this month.

Kate Moss to celebrate New Year in Thailand

Kate Moss has opted to return to Thailand for her New Year's Eve celebrations, according to reports.

Bang Showbiz understands that the supermodel was hoping to warm in 2011 at a new destination, but had to resort to Phuket, where she has holidayed for the last four years.

"Kate has been forced to book the same place in Thailand where she's spent New Year's Eve for the past three years," a source claimed.

"She's in a huff because she was desperate for somewhere new, but was turned down by top resorts around the globe because they had no room left. She will now be flying to Amanpuri in Phuket on December 27."

The insider added: "Kate's been moaning that she's not happy going back to the same resort, but to make it more exciting she'll do it in style and raise the roof spending £100,000 on her seven-day stay.

"She's rented a state-of-the-art yacht to cruise around the Andaman Sea and a luxurious villa full of stuff."

Joined by her boyfriend Jamie Hince, her 8-year-old daughter Lila Grace and her mother Linda, the star is said to be "stressing" about the date.

Another source told the Daily Star: "She has had her PA calling around the world to get somewhere warm, glamorous and new but everywhere is already booked up."

British supermodel Kate Moss has a new brand in her list of advertising campaigns. It is now official that Kate Moss will next be seen campaigning for Vogue Eyewear and showcase its latest spring/summer collection. Needless to say that Vogue is anticipating a larger number of sales from this particular section.

Vogue Eyewear is not the first time that the British supermodel has been associated with advertisements of eye accessories. Kate Moss was previously in eyewear ads for Just Cavalli, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent. The new Vogue Eyewear collection comprises four sunglasses and two optical frames.

Kate Moss 'marries in secret in Italy'

Supermodel Kate Moss secretly wed her rock guitarist boyfriend Jamie Hince in a ceremony in Sicily in August, according to reports in Britain on Friday.

Moss, 36, and Hince, 40, exchanged vows before a handful of friends and family in a ceremony on the Mediterranean island, the Daily Mirror tabloid reported.

The model walked up the aisle barefoot and wore a see-through white gown for the ceremony in a small church.

Her daughter Lila Grace, from a previous relationship with magazine editor Jefferson Hack, was one of three ring bearers at the wedding.

Moss met Hince, guitarist with The Kills, three years ago.

The Daily Mirror reported that the wedding plans had been kept secret because the couple wanted to avoid media coverage.

Following the ceremony, local villagers reportedly joined in the celebrations outside the church.

Before her relationship with Hince, Moss had been romantically involved with Hollywood star Johnny Depp and wayward rocker Pete Doherty.

Kate Moss has apparently denied reports that she is married to boyfriend Jamie Hince.
It was earlier suggested that the couple secretly wed in August during a private ceremony held in Sicily.
However, a source close to the supermodel told the Daily Mail that there is no truth to the story.
"[She is] definitely not married," the insider said.
"Any implication she is... is factually incorrect."

Kate Moss ends Topshop partnership

Kate Moss has announced that she will no longer create clothes for Topshop.

The model has decided to end her partnership with the brand after three years of designing for the British retailer, reports Contactmusic.

Label boss Philip Green dismissed rumours that Moss's departure was caused by a rift between the two, stating: "There have been no dramas and we don't need a new muse. There is only one Kate and we are not looking for a replacement.

"Kate has done 14 collections with us. It has been fantastic for us and fantastic for her, but they take more and more time and she cannot do this full-time any more because she has other commitments."

Moss is due to unveil her final collection for Topshop in October.

Moss seeks new pad after break-in, flood

Kate Moss is apparently looking for a new home after suffering a flood and a burglary in one week.

The Sun reports that the supermodel believes her Primrose Hill house is jinxed and wants a new start.

More than £100,000 of damage was caused when her West London home was flooded with sewage this week after a basement pump seized. That came close on the heels of a burglarly at the property she shares with rocker Jamie Hince.

A source said: "She just can't face any more disruption. She is moving out for the summer while her aides look for a new pad for her."

Braless Beauty

Never shy when it comes to wardrobe decisions, Kate Moss stepped out sans bra in London on Friday afternoon (April 23).

The catwalk cutie smiled for paparazzi as she ran a few errands including picking up some clothes from the local dry cleaners.

From there, Miss Moss continued on to a local pub, where she met fiance Jamie Hince for a relaxing week-ending meal.

Meanwhile, Kate was out on the town the previous night, as she partied the night away at the Art Plus Music fete held at the Whitechapel Gallery.

Moss to celebrate New Year at Depp's island

Depp will be there with his singer wife Vanessa Paradis and the four of them will be joining others for a winter escape to the "Pirates of Caribbean" star's private 45-acre island which he bought in 2004 for more than 2 million pounds. One gets there on Depp's 156ft steam-powered boat called Vajoliroja, reports thesun.Hince, who usually keeps his cards very close to his chest, let slip about the forthcoming vacation to a pal. Hanging out with Depp would be a great laugh for Hince despite the awkwardness of having dated the same woman.

Depp's holiday hobbies include painting and playing guitar. There are five beaches on the private island, which only has solar power, named after Depp's favourite people. One's called Gonzo after the style of journalism used by writer Hunter S. Thompson who Johnny famously played in the 1998 film "Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas".

Another is named Paradis after his wife. Then there's Lily Rose and Jack as a tribute to his kids and Brando after Hollywood legend Marlon. "I don't think I'd ever seen any place so pure and beautiful. You can feel your pulse rate drop about 20 beats. It's instant freedom," Depp said about his island. Moss and Depp had a very intense relationship from 1994 to 1998. They lost touch but Depp got back in contact after publicly speaking out for her when she became embroiled in her cocaine scandal in 2005.

Kate Moss walks out of GQ awards

British supermodel Kate Moss stormed out of an award function after the host made a joke at her expense. She has vowed never to attend any such event in future.

Moss turned up at the annual style ceremony, GQ Men of The Year Awards, which took place Tuesday in London to present her close friend Lily Allen with the Woman Of The Year honour. Moss giggled through her introduction after admitting she was "absolutely terrible at these things" before handing the Allen her award.

Her guest turn was the subject of some onstage jest from the evening's host, Irish actor James Nesbitt, and Moss took great offence at the jibe, reports contactmusic.com.

As she marched out of the awards, she said: "He's so f**king rude! How dare he? Do you know what, I'm never coming back to these f**king awards again."

Allen tried in vain to calm her down, saying, "He didn't mean it like that, Kate," but Moss still grabbed boyfriend Jamie Hince and made a quick exit.
