Shah Rukh Khan at Black Eyed Peas concert

Shah Rukh Khan has attended a Black Eyed Peas concert while on holiday in London.

The Ra.One star took his son Aryan and daughter Suhana to see The Black Eyed Peas perform at London's 02 arena.

Speaking on Twitter, Khan said: "Taking the little ones tomorrow to see the Black Eyed Peas perform. My favourite group & found out my little ones love them too ... Makes me feel cooler that I am not as outdated as I thought. I know Justin Bieber too, so there! (sic)"

After the concert, he said: "Met Black Eyed Peas backstage with the kids. will.i.am & Fergie were so gracious. Their concert rocked...awesome. Fergie said she has seen me act with the actress with light pretty eyes...my first concert...wot an initiation! Loved it!"

He added: "Daughter went for Glee at O2 ... she danced to music and thanked me... I thanked God for giving me such joy in the simple pleasures of life."

Khan is taking a break after completing the hectic shooting schedule of his superhero film Ra.One.

The actor recently described his pleasure in "doing nothing".

"In the mode of doing nothing, sometimes listless... aimless... workless, makes it the most satisfying experience of the day. In London, doing awesomely nothing."

Natalie Portman eyes box office crown

LOS ANGELES: Natalie Portman goes up against herself at the North American box office this weekend when her romantic romp "No Strings Attached" opens on Friday.

Few would have guessed that Portman's awards contender "Black Swan" would still be going strong when "No Strings" -- also starring Ashton Kutcher -- hit theaters. Last weekend, when "Swan" ranked at No. 5 with cumulative sales of $73 million, Portman won a Golden Globe for "Swan."

The big question is whether reigning champ "The Green Hornet" can fend off "No Strings." Last weekend, "Hornet" debuted to $33.5 million, and the Sony comic-book adaptation will probably lose about half its audience in its second round.

"No Strings" distributor Paramount expects its film to open in the mid-to-high teen millions, in line with other R-rated romantic comedies. It was produced for a modest $25 million, so the studio doesn't need a huge opening weekend. Women are the primary audience for a storyline that explores whether casual sex can actually stay casual.

Other new releases include Peter Weir's survivor drama "The Way Back" in 650 theaters; and John Wells' corporate-downsizing drama "The Company Men" in 106 theaters, exactly one year after the film made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. Originally, the Weinstein Co. was going to open "Company Men" last year in time for awards consideration, but it pushed back the release.

Overall, it's going to be another down weekend at the box office. Once a movie graveyard, January turned in strong performances the past several years, and especially last year with Avatar. January 2011 is a return to less prosperous times.

Elizabeth Hurley confirms marriage split

Elizabeth Hurley has confirmed her split from husband Arun Nayar following allegations of an affair with cricketer Shane Warne.

The Austin Powers actress took to Twitter this afternoon to clarify her marital status after The News of the World exposed her secret meetings with the Australian sportsman and their two-day break in a luxury London hotel.

She wrote: "Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this."

Hurley began dating Nayar back in 2002 and married the Indian tycoon in 2007.

Black Eyed Peas climb to singles
The Black Eyed Peas have climbed to the top of the UK singles chart with their Dirty Dancing remix 'The Time (Dirty Bit)'.

The group notched up a fifth UK number one with their techno track, after an energetic performance on last Sunday's X Factor semi-final saw the song advance five places and snatch pole position on this week's chart.

Settling in at second is 'Whip My Hair', the debut single by Hollywood star Will Smith's daughter Willow, who at just 10 years old becomes one of the youngest artists in chart history to score a top ten hit.
Elsewhere, Rihanna continues her hold on the chart after 'What's My Name?' and 'Only Girl (In The World)' both climb to four and five respectively, while her collaboration with David Guetta, 'Who's That Chick?', holds steady at nine.

The mass of new entries and climbers around the summit of the rankings push the X Factor finalists and 'Heroes' off the top spot and down to seven on the night of the show's grand finale, while last year's runner-up Olly Murs lands right behind them, after falling four places with 'Thinking Of Me'.

Outside the top ten, a previously unheard Michael Jackson track featuring Akon entitled 'Hold My Hand' becomes the second-highest new entry of the week at 11, while Alexandra Burke's 'The Silence' also makes a respectable placing at 18.

Meanwhile, festive-themed tune 'Christmas Lights' by Coldplay climbs five places to 13, while YouTube star Alexa Goddard gains six places with a Cher Lloyd-inspired cover of 'Turn My Swag On' at 20.

The top ten in full:

1. (6) The Black Eyed Peas: 'The Time (Dirty Bit)'
2. (-) Willow Smith: 'Whip My Hair'
3. (2) Ellie Goulding: 'Your Song'
4. (7) Rihanna ft. Drake: 'What's My Name?'
5. (6) Rihanna: 'Only Girl (In The World)'
6. (5) Far East Movement: 'Like A G6'
7. (1) X Factor Finalists: 'Heroes'
8. (4) Olly Murs: 'Thinking Of Me'
9. (9) David Guetta ft. Rihanna: 'Who's That Chick?'
10. (3) Nicole Scherzinger: 'Poison'
