"This response is unbelievable. I am sure the movie will be a hit," Veena Malik said.

Veena Malik plays double role in Daal Mein Kuch Kala Hai

Mumbai: Veena Malik is really going gaga in the film industry. She has started getting in Bollywood what she dreamt of it prior to stepping into India. The controversial babe, about whom there are talks that she gets works through controversies, has been riding high in Hindi cinema since the outset. Her name now sells – this she knows pretty well. And to make her name more strapping, she keeps on creating the controversies. We have seen this hot babe in few item songs which she has done so far in films – the more noticeable is ‘Channo’ that she did for the movie ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’ starring Akshaye Khanna in main lead.

Veena is now being considered hot for the item songs and she even has chipped in that leading heroines of the film industry have to do item songs. She said so in response of Hema Malini’s comment about leading heroines to stay away from the item songs. Well, what Hema said that was her own version and thinking. Thus in this scenario, Veena seems right.

Veena Malik to overshadow Vidya Balan in ‘The Dirty Picture’ remake

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is on cloud nine at this point in time, thanks to the stupendous success of her film ‘The Dirty Picture’, in which she showed everyone how good she can be at her erotic best. However, this time the controversial queen of Pakistan, Veena Malik, has taken up the challenge.

Malik, who has always locked headlines for wrong reasons in the country, is going to play a lead role in the Kannada remake of the film, which has been titled as ‘The Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga’, and by looking at the actress’s recent photo shoot, it looks as if she is going to give Balan a pretty tough time.
The remake is being directed by Trishul and when he was asked whether if glamour is the highlight of the film, he immediately said no.

The director stated he has used the right amount of glamour in the film and he will showcase many more phases of Silk Smitha’s life. He also insisted that there is not going to be much vulgarity in the film.
Trishul said, “The Dirty Picture portrayed Silk in a very crude manner. My film will tackle the subject differently. I’ll show Silk’s character in three different stages — before she got into the film industry, as an actor, and in the last stages of her life. I’ve used the right amount of glamour. There is no question of vulgarity.”

“Of course. There is much more to Silk’s life than just the sleaze. This is a realistic take on her life,” said the filmmaker.

“I have exclusive information about her that I’ll use for my film. Silk has acted with several top actors like Ambareesh, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Chiranjeevi during her time. All these characters will be there in the film,” said Trishul.

Well, all said and done, let’s see if Veena Malik really impresses the audiences with this film. Source:http://www.newspakistan.pk

“Dancing is my passion and salsa is a new thing for me. I am quite nervous and excited about this project. Salsa is like good music, it elevates the spirit and it’s an exhilarating freedom,” Malik said in a statement.

The dance has been choreographed by Longinus Fernandes, known for choreographing “Jai Ho” for Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire and “Pappu Can’t Dance Saala” for Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa, and he is impressed with the way the actor has performed.

Is Veena Malik getting intimate with director Hemant Madhukar?

We found some sensational pictures of Veena Malik getting up close and personal with the director of her upcoming film Mumbai 125. When questioned about it, the Bigg Boss babe gave the age old excuse – the pictures are morphed! Oh c’mon Veena, give us a break, babe!

Just a couple of months ago Veena Malik was seen on the cover of a popular men’s magazine in semi-nude avatar. After enjoying the hullabaloo that was created over it, Veena suddenly changed her stance when she realised that the moral brigade could attack her. She then started crying hoarse claiming that the pictures were morphed! And now we found the Pakistani seductress cosying up to director Hemant Madhukar. And this time round too Veena resorts to the same excuse – the pictures are morphed!

Veena was spotted getting close to Madhukar who is directing a 3D horror flick titled Mumbai 125. Veena is playing the lead in the film opposite her alleged ex-flame Ashmit Patel. Speculations are rife that the Pakistani import is getting too close for comfort to her director as she wants to get maximum footage in the film. When asked about the controversial pictures, Veena rubbished the allegations “If sitting and dining with someone is equal to flirting with him or dating him, it is nothing but rubbish. I share a good work relationship with Hemant, and I also know his wife. So all these reports are baseless,” said Veena in an interview.

The so called healthy relationship between Hemant and Veena is quite evident in the pictures. Is this Veena’s desperate attempt to get a foothold in Bollywood by staging an affair with her director? “Am I seen getting banged in these pictures? How are they intimate? I am just sitting and having dinner. If someone has cropped them or morphed them or clicked them from a different angle to make it look like we are getting close, it is not my fault. I won’t get cosy with someone to promote my film or to get roles,” said Veena in an interview.

Every time she’s seen caught in an awkward moment or in the buff for a cover shot, Veena has one answer handy – the pictures are morphed! Don’t you think your secret-admirers are tired of this cliched response, Veena? Souece:http://www.bollywoodlife.com

Send back Veena Malik to Pakistan: Bal Thackeray

MUMBAI: Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray today lashed out at Pakistani actor Veena Malik and all other artistes, saying all of them should be packed off to their country.

In an editorial in his party's organ Saamna, Bal Thackeray writes: "Veena Malik is a blot on our country's culture. Who is Veena Malik? Why is so much ruckus being raised about her?

"She goes missing for some days and it appears to be a publicity stunt
….sometimes she does obscene acts in Bigg Boss and sometimes she gets herself photographed in the nude for magazines.

"Veena is not such a big actress from Pakistan that we should go on praising her.

"I think she has a temporary visa and she is staying here since months. It seems she has obtained Indian citizenship. This amounts to stabbing oneself in the back.

"There is a trend in Bollywood to hire Pakistani artistes. Pakistani actors come to India and do not want to leave. People from Pakistan come to India to watch cricket matches and suddenly vanish. It's difficult to say whether they work for terror outfits or not.

"We are so careless that we are welcoming our enemies too.

"Adnan Sami also seems uninterested in going back to his home country. Pakistani comic artistes come here in the name of improving ties and go back earning money.

"On the other side, Pakistani government doesn't even give visas to our artistes. There is a virtual ban on entry of Amitabh Bachchan, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle in Pakistan.

"There is also a ban on our film songs there, but we bring in useless Pakistani artistes here and feed them.

"Dolly Bindra says, Veena Malik has ISI connections. If that is so, the person who gave her visa should be jailed.

"Such persons should be in the same cells with Afzal Guru and Kasab.

"We should clean up our country and send Veena to hell", signs off the Shiv Sena supremo.

Veena Malik-FHM nude photoshoot was a pre-planned publicity stunt!

Ever since the Veena Malik-FHM nude photoshoot controversy broke out, there were contradictory versions given by both, the Pakistani starlet and the international magazine, about her nude cover shoot, shot by photographer Vishal Saxena.

There were legal notices and counter notices sent by Veena and FHM to each other. It seemed like a never-ending puzzle till recently, when prominent fashion designer Umair Zafar decided to spill the beans.

Speaking to The Times of India, Umair states, “A few days before the FHM cover was out, photographer Vishal Saxena told me to be prepared for a big dhamaka.”

Umair reveals to the paper that “Veena Malik did the shoot topless with her hands covering the upper part of her body. She was wearing a bikini panty below, which was later on morphed and removed electronically by photographer Vishal Saxena. All this was pre-decided and agreed upon by all concerned.”

He adds, “In order to save face and avoid the repercussions that it could have - both in Pakistan and in India and yet avail of all the publicity Veena Malik and FHM magazine had pre-decided that Veena Malik would send a defamation notice to the magazine and the magazine in turn would then send her a counter-notice. Yeah sab mili bhagat hein.”

“The entire episode had been meticulously planned by Veena Malik, photographer Vishal Saxena and FHM magazine representatives. Even the defamation notice was prepared in advance, ” Umair further revealed.

Umair, who has done many shoots with Vishal Saxena and styled clothes for Sayali Bhagat, Nisha Kothari and others, points out that Vishal specializes in nude shoots and has done several such shoots with Sherlyn Chopra, Priya Soni and more.

Bollywood publicist Dale Bhagwagar, because of whom Veena Malik received an offer for India’s most popular reality show Bigg Boss, isn’t surprised at Umair’s revelation.

When asked about the fashion designer’s expose on Veena, Dale says, “I am reminded of a song in an old Mithun Chakraborty film called Mujrim. It went, ‘Mujrim na kehna mujhe logon, mujrim toh saara zamaana hai. Jo pakda gaya, who chor hai, jo bach gaya, who sayana hai.’ And Veena Malik seems to be caught.”

Dale and Veena a long way! Before Bigg Boss happened to her, the Pakistani actress had falsely alleged that Dale’s PR client and Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra was involved with Pakastani cricketer Mohammad Asif in the international match fixing scandal.

Safeguarding his client, the PR expert had vehemently denied Veena’s claims in national media through a press meet, ensuring that the denial became bigger news than Veena’s frivolous claims.

So huge was the uproar that both Neetu Chandra and Veena Malik were offered Bigg Boss. While Neetu did not participate, Veena gladly accepted the offer. Incidentally, she attained more fame by romancing actor Ashmit Patel on the show; another of Dale’s PR clients, who he handled for a specific period of three months during Bigg Boss.

After returning from the show, Veena even met up with the public relations specialist for her branding in Indian media, but they never worked together. Now it is also rumoured that Dale has a hand in bringing out the truth through Umair.

Though Dale admits that he did chat with photographer Vishal Saxena as well as FHM editor Kabeer Sharma last week, the PR says, “I do not know Umair Zafar personally. Veena and I were in touch long ago after Bigg Boss Season 4. But we moved on and I have rarely spoken to her after that.”

Meanwhile, a birdie tells us that Veena Malik’s visa for her stay in India is about to expire on December 24 and she has not received an extension, meaning, she might be forced to return to her home country Pakistan amidst the controversy and widespread protests about it in her country. Veena Malik now accused of copying Katrina Kaif's look

Veena Malik has again landed in the middle of a controversy, this time for "ripping-off" Katrina Kaif's look in a new film. After turning down a number of Bollywood roles, the Pakistani actress agreed to dance in an item song titled The Item Bomb Channo.

But critics believe her look is almost identical to that of British Indian actress Katrina Kaif's latest release Chikni Chameli.

Stills from the new film have been dubbed 'uncomfortably reminiscent' of the first-look photos from Kaif's Agneepath by India Today, the Mirror reported.

Critics have speculated that the similarities in dress, hair, makeup and setting are a PR ploy to generate further coverage after the star's FHM nude photoshoot row. But Malik claims the fact that Channo was 'different' is what persuaded her to agree to the film, which is set for release on February 3.

"From styling and the set up, to the tune and choreography, everything in this item number is different," she was quoted as saying. "That is why I choose to do this item song," she said.

Aside from the sizzling costume, the actress also sports a Nathani, a Pakistani nose ring, which was added to her look by her own request.

"Nathani is a very important ornament in Pakistan and it gives a very beautiful look," she said. "So on my request we added it to my look, which is looking stunning," she added.

Veena Malik slams death threats from Pakistan

Veena Malik has hit out at the ‘stone age’ attitudes in her home country Pakistan over the death threats she received after she allegedly posed nude for the cover of FHM magazine. She claims the magazine airbrushed out the thong she was wearing. But her appearance has led to accusations related stories of betraying her country; her father has disowned her, and she has received death threats.

A text message sent to local journalists by ISI’s public relations machinery complained that the affair was ‘the height of humiliation for Pakistan, done by a Pakistani on Indian soil’.
Malik has all along accused FHM of morphing her photos. The actor and the magazine have been suing each other for 3 million pounds in a bitter exchange of lawsuits.
She has also hit out at the ‘stone age’ attitudes in her country and argued that no one is willing to hear her side of the story.

“If some mullah on the TV today says shoot the girl, they will shoot me. But the guy who removed my clothes using some technology, at least say something against him,” the Guardian quoted her as saying
“This attitude, I’m sorry, is in the society. When they say they have become modern, grown up, that’s wrong. They still live in the stone age,” she said.

The actress said that she was wearing the bottom half of a bikini during the photo shoot and denied that she was even topless, as her hands were hiding her breasts.

“My choice was a bikini shoot. And I did a bikini shoot. They removed my bikini, later on. It was not a topless, and not a nude, shoot. It was a completely covered shoot,” she said.
“When the upper portion of the model is completely covered, by the hands, you can’t call it topless,” she added.

IHC rejects plea against Veena Malik

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected the plea filed against actress Veena Malik saying the pictures were published in another country so she cannot be tried here in Pakistan, Geo news reported.

A petitioner Wednesday had moved the IHC against Zahida alias Veena Malik contending that she should be tried under article 294 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) for obscene acts, article 124-A for sedition, article 140 for wearing garb or carrying token used by soldier, sailor or airman and article 500 for defamation.

Justice Muhammad Anwar Kasi of the IHC heard the case in chamber and fixed the hearing for Thursday told the petitioner Salim Ullah Khan. The petitioner told the court that Zahid alia Veena Malik did a naked photo shoot for an India-based male magazine FHM. Naked pictures were printed at the cover page of the magazine and also carried at the e-edition of the magazine.

The petitioner contended that the conduct of Veena Malik is controversial and shameful for everybody in Pakistan and it should be stopped.

According to the petitioner, inscription of ISI at the Veena Malik's arm is a violation of section 140 PPC that prohibits wearing grab or carrying token used by soldier, sailor or airman. Credit : Geo News Pakistan

Veena Malik disowned by father after nude photo scandal

Pakistani actress and model Veena Malik's father has disowned her and demanded that she be punished, after nude photos of her appeared on the cover of a men's magazine.

Malik has denied modeling for the magazine FHM and has insisted that the pictures were fake.

What you don't know about Veena Malik

Pakistani actor Veena Malik shocked her country after an alleged photo of her posing nude appeared on the cover of the Indian edition of FHM.Following an outrage in Pakistan, she denied that it was she in the picture and claimed that the photo was morphed.

She may be an actor famous for controversies now but she had started her career as a comedienne.
Malik made her acting debut in 2000 alongside Shaan and Zara Sheikh in Askari’s Tere Pyar Mein and in 2007 she was awarded ‘most stylish celebrity on the carpet’ at the Lux Style Awards, the Mirror reported.

The daughter of an army soldier and his wife, she is believed to have been born in 1978 in Rawalpindi.

She was a basketball player through school and college, and is reported to have graduated with a BA degree in Sociology, Psychology and Persian.

Although Malik achieved fame in Pakistan through a series of Lollywood movies - the term used to describe films made in Lahore - she became a household name in India only after she participated in Bigg Boss 4 in 2010.

She was evicted two weeks before the finals, and was one of the final six contestants out of the original fourteen who had participated. WWE wrestler The Great Khali was also among the housemates.

However, her presence in the show angered clerics in her country who accused her of ‘immoral behaviour.’

She famously clashed on the issue with cleric Mufti Abdul Qawi on a Pakistani talk show where she insisted that the country had far more issues to focus on than her.

Her outspoken views have won her many fans from Pakistan’s youth and liberals. She has also been involved in social work and worked as a representative at the World Health Organization for over two years.

The actor is also the former girlfriend of disgraced cricketer Mohammad Asif who was jailed in November for his role in the Pakistan match fixing scandal. She is reported to have suggested she has not been praised enough for her revelations about Mohammad Asif in the match-fixing scandal. “I seriously expected a bravery award after what I have done. My life isn’t secure anymore after these revelations,” she is reported to have said.

“This is a male-dominated world and they try to cut to size all bold women. In Pakistan, it is a crime to be bold, beautiful and young. And I am all three,” she said.

In February 2011 Malik became part of a Cricket World Cup reality show called Big Toss where she was captain of one of the two teams.

Her favourite Indian cricketer is reportedly Sachin Tendulkar but she is a fan of the Australian game too. “… if there is a character I deeply admire, its Brett Lee,” she said. Credit : www.hindustantimes.com

Veena Malik’s snap genuine, say stylist, photographer

Pakistani actor Veena Malik might deny her nude photoshoot for the FHM India magazine but her stylist Nitasha Gaurav and photographer Vishal Saxena on Saturday said the photograph was indeed genuine. The cover shows her posing nude with a tattoo of ISI on the left arm, which has sparked a controversy in Pakistan.

Malik, who came to India last year to participate in the fourth season of reality TV show Bigg Boss, shot for the cover of FHM on November 23, according to the magazine. Malik, however, says the photograph has been morphed, and she did not do any such shoot.

Gaurav, who styled Malik for the session, said he was present at the shoot. “It happened on November 23 at a small studio in Aaramnagar in Versova. I was informed about it a week in advance and I was told that she would be going nude for it. So clearly, the production team of the magazine had discussed it with her. Even on the day of the shoot, she was happy and comfortable with it. There was no issue at all as she was very much willing to do it,” Gaurav told The Sunday Express.

Photographer Saxena also said Malik had readily agreed for the magazine shoot. “In fact, the cover is just one picture. We have so many more photographs that we have clicked.” He said the shoot was finalised only after Malik had agreed to it on an email. “Veena really liked the concept and she was very cooperative and comfortable when I shot her. As soon as she gave a shot, she even wanted to see the pictures. It is really hard to tell why this sudden change in behaviour.”

Veena Malik denies posing nude for Indian magazine after Pak outrage

Veena Malik appeared nude on the cover of FHM magazine with an ‘ISI’ tattoo on her arm, but has been forced to deny it after it sparked outrage among conservatives in Pakistan - both for her nudity and the reference to the country’s intelligence agency.

The controversial photo appears on the December issue of the magazine.

The image, which was revealed on FHM India’s website, Facebook page and Twitter account simultaneously, shows her nude with her arms and one leg positioned to cover her breasts and pubic area.

On her arm are emblazoned the initials ''ISI'' - the acronym for Pakistan''s feared Inter-Services Intelligence agency - with the tag line, ‘hand in the end of the world too?’

But Malik has denied posing for the lads’ mag and insists that the photo is morphed.

“I have never posed nude. I have never done anything like that ever,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

“My manager and legal team is looking into the matter. We will take legal action against them,” she added.

FHM India’s editor, Kabeer Sharma, said that nothing had been doctored, and that the magazine could prove the photo’s authenticity.

“We have video footage of the shoot as well as emails from Veena about how she’s looking forward to the cover,” BBC quoted him as saying.

Sharma said the reference to Pakistani intelligence was meant to be light-hearted, saying: “In India we joke about this... if anything goes wrong... we say the ISI must be behind this.”
