Veena Malik lends support to homosexuality

Mumbai : Pakistani model-actress Veena Malik has come out in support of homosexuality and she says that it should not be considered as a social taboo.
The 28-year-old rose to prominence in India after participating in reality TV show Bigg Boss.

“I support the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community and I don't feel shy about doing it,” Malik said.

“I personally feel every person has a right to live life on their own terms and nobody should interfere in their personal life,” she added.

Malik will make her Bollywood debut with 'Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai', which is ready for release. She will also be seen in the Telugu version of the Bollywood hit 'The Dirty Picture' and Hindi films 'Mumbai 125 km' and 'Zindagi 50-50'. Source:http://www.indianexpress.com

Is Veena Malik getting intimate with director Hemant Madhukar?

We found some sensational pictures of Veena Malik getting up close and personal with the director of her upcoming film Mumbai 125. When questioned about it, the Bigg Boss babe gave the age old excuse – the pictures are morphed! Oh c’mon Veena, give us a break, babe!

Just a couple of months ago Veena Malik was seen on the cover of a popular men’s magazine in semi-nude avatar. After enjoying the hullabaloo that was created over it, Veena suddenly changed her stance when she realised that the moral brigade could attack her. She then started crying hoarse claiming that the pictures were morphed! And now we found the Pakistani seductress cosying up to director Hemant Madhukar. And this time round too Veena resorts to the same excuse – the pictures are morphed!

Veena was spotted getting close to Madhukar who is directing a 3D horror flick titled Mumbai 125. Veena is playing the lead in the film opposite her alleged ex-flame Ashmit Patel. Speculations are rife that the Pakistani import is getting too close for comfort to her director as she wants to get maximum footage in the film. When asked about the controversial pictures, Veena rubbished the allegations “If sitting and dining with someone is equal to flirting with him or dating him, it is nothing but rubbish. I share a good work relationship with Hemant, and I also know his wife. So all these reports are baseless,” said Veena in an interview.

The so called healthy relationship between Hemant and Veena is quite evident in the pictures. Is this Veena’s desperate attempt to get a foothold in Bollywood by staging an affair with her director? “Am I seen getting banged in these pictures? How are they intimate? I am just sitting and having dinner. If someone has cropped them or morphed them or clicked them from a different angle to make it look like we are getting close, it is not my fault. I won’t get cosy with someone to promote my film or to get roles,” said Veena in an interview.

Every time she’s seen caught in an awkward moment or in the buff for a cover shot, Veena has one answer handy – the pictures are morphed! Don’t you think your secret-admirers are tired of this cliched response, Veena? Souece:http://www.bollywoodlife.com

Veena Malik shoots her first Bollywood film

MUMBAI: Pakistani actress Veena Malik was spotted, shooting for her maiden Bollywood project `Daal Me Kuch Kala Hai`, in Pune. Malik, who will share the screen space with actors Jackie Shroff and Shakti Kapoor in the film, will be seen in a double role in the movie.

Veena, who hogged the limelight for accusing her ex-boyfriend and Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Asif of being a match fixer, also grabbed eyeballs when she appeared on reality show Bigg Boss season 4. She will now be seen in a Bollywood movie with an item number in the flick that will soon be released for cinemas.

The irrepressible Veena Malik is back in Mumbai

Veena Malik is back in Mumbai, and this time for a good 45 days, to shoot for two Bollywood films. She's naturally very excited about her debut in Hindi cinema and has rented a seven-star apartment in suburban Mumbai, giving us an indication that she plans to settle down in the city.

But this news has not gone down well with certain people from the film industry. Actor Raza Murad, who is also the chairperson of the joint settlement dispute committee of the Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA), is extremely vocal about Veena's presence in India.

Voicing his opinion, Raza Murad said, "I'm sorry to say Veena Malik is the Pakistani counterpart of Rakhi Sawant. She keeps flying between the two countries as though she's commuting between Bandra and Malad. But for us Indians it's easier to go to the moon than visit Pakistan."

"Sometimes she's here for shows. But I've also seen her flying down to Mumbai to feed cake to Ashmit Patel on his birthday, " added the actor.

When he was reminded that Mahesh Bhatt initiated the process of getting Pakistani artistes into India, Murad said, "I respect Bhatt Saab's gesture. He calls Pakistani artistes with good intentions. "Lekin saamne wale ki neeyat bhi to achchi honi chahiye, " he remarked.

Friendship between India and Pakistan has to be bilateral, he said. He asserted, "We're never invited to their country. Even if we are, we never get the visas on time.

Hospitality

"Sportspersons, mediapersons and entertainers from Pakistan thoroughly enjoy our hospitality. But the warmth is totally one-sided. They make crores in India. But do not disclose their income and head straight to the airport after making their money and abusing our hospitality."

Recalling his work with Pakistani actor Zeba Bakhtiar in Randhir Kapoor's Henna, he said, "She was treated so well by us. Others like Madame Salma Agha and Mr Adnan Sami who are staying in India for years, are enjoying every facility given to an Indian citizen. Forget Atithee tum kab jaoge, our attitude is, Atithee tum kab aaoge."

Pampered Veena

Meanwhile, Veena, who is currently in the city, revealed that Ashmit Patel is sending home-cooked khana to her residence. "Ashmit has a very good cook and he knows my food habits. He eats healthy food just like I do, the actor maintained"

Actress Veena Malik aspires to work with Bollywood biggies soon

Veena Malik did manage to grab Salman Khan's attention as she gyrated on Sheila ki jawaani when in the Bigg Boss' house.

The actress who is currently working on her debut Hindi film 'Daal mein kuch kaala hai' with other controversial actors like Raja Chaudhary and Shakti Kapoor spoke about her dream co-stars.

Veena stated, "I'd like to work with the Bachchans and Khans soon. I think they are extremely talented and enormously good looking actors."

Speaking on Ashmit Patel, the actress said, "Ashmit and I have been offered a couple of films but we are waiting for something really good to come our way. We are waiting for the right script. Our fans are waiting for us to come together on the big screen and it shall happen soon."

Veena-Ashmit fans had even suggested Pooja Bhatt to cast the two in Jism sequel which Pooja is planning to make.

Lets see what lies ahead for the Pakistani seductress.

Veena Malik’s dramas beat all records

Believe it or not but she has literally broken all records of being fake and drama queen for the sake of desperate publicity and fame. Any guesses, whom I am talking about! Fashion Central reports.

Yes, it’s none other than Veena Malik, who lives in Pakistan and never has bothered to give even a little charity to people who died and became homeless in flood last year! And never has shown her sad sentiments about the current miserable situation in Karachi! But oh-so-worried about Mumbai blasts!

Veena Malik says, “India is my second home, I belong to India,” and adds: “I heard about the blasts early on because my friends in Mumbai texted me about this gory act. I was so upset and I had tears in my eyes when I heard about the Mumbai blasts. It is such a despicable, cowardly and deplorable act, which can’t be condemned in words.”

I wonder if these are real sentiments or she is just faking up to make her position in India! No doubt the horrible act can’t be condemned in words but showing off sentiments to such an extent seems absurd and disgusting!

Veena Malik to make Bollywood debut

Pakistani actress Veena Malik is all set to make her Bollywood debut. The official announcement was made at an event in Versova, Mumbai, Geo News reported.

A participant from the famous Salman Khan hosted reality show Bigg Boss 4, Veena Malik made headlines for her speculated romantic relationship with Ashmit Patel. Veena’s Bollywood debut does not come as a surprise since Bigg Boss earned her a considerable fan base in India.

Her debut movie has been titled Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai. Buzz suggests that Veena will be playing a double role in the movie.

Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai will be directed by Aanand Balraj, the younger brother of Deepak Balraj. Deepak has directed the movie Hafta Bandh.

A fact worth mentioning is that while Veena is making her acting debut through this movie, Aanand Balraj is making his directorial debut! Aanand was previously an actor and was seen in various short roles in the Subhash Ghai films like Ram Lakhan, Khalnaayak, Saudgar and Pardes.

Neither Ashmit nor I believe in marriage: Veena Malik

Contrary to the reports from Pakistan, Veena Malik has not been injured in a road accident

In an accident involving the Pakistani actress Veena Malik while she was travelling from Islamabad to Lahore, the actress has declared herself to be unhurt, opposing the claims of the Pakistani media.

According to Pakistani media reports, Veena was recovering in a hospital.
"Not true, " said Malik, "Miraculously, I didn't get a single scratch. Although the vehicle is completely mangled we managed to escape unhurt. I think there is a guardian-angel watching over me."

The incident, however, has resulted in one good aftermath.
Her boyfriend, Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel and she are together again. Ashmit has been on the phone constantly inquiring about Veena's well being, specially since the reports in the Pakistan press were fairly alarming.

No wedding bells
Prodded about marriage, Veena chuckled, "Neither Ashmit nor I believe in the institution of marriage. The day marriage makes sense to us, we will take the plunge."

Veena returns to Mumbai in two weeks. "I've accepted three movie projects and will talk about them when I return to India."

Veena Malik 'out of danger'

Actor and model Veena Malik’s condition is said to be stable after she sustained injuries in a car crash on Monday night.Malik suffered injuries on her shoulder, arms and legs and is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Lahore. A source close to Malik quoted her mother as saying that Malik’s “condition is out of danger and she is stable now.”

The accident took place while Malik was travelling to Lahore after meeting her family in Islamabad. The accident took place eight kilometres away from Thokar Niaz Beg.
According to Malik’s manager Sohail Rashid, Malik was driving a black Honda City. “There were two guards and two other people with her while she was driving herself,” he said. “A speeding vehicle overtook Veena Malik’s car, hit its side door and went ahead. The car spun out of balance and collided.”
One of the occupants of the car, who was seated next to Malik, said, “It seems as if they deliberately hit our car. We couldn’t see their faces. They hit us and saw our car colliding. They would have stopped had they hit us by mistake.”

Malik was taken to the hospital in an unconscious state. “The family does not want to disclose her location right now for security reasons. The doctors say she is stable and will be discharged soon but they have advised rest since she has suffered a mental shock,” Rashid told The Express Tribune.
“The doctors are hopeful she will be discharged in a day. She will take some rest and then announce herself about her plans,” a family member told The Express Tribune.

While Malik often travels in a black Prado, she was using the Honda City for this trip. “Due to security concerns Veena Malik wasn’t using her Prado because many people recognize it,” Rashid said.
When asked about the legal formalities of the case, Rashid said that they would lodge a First Information Report of the incident but were waiting for Veena Malik to recover. “We will definitely lodge a case but Veena should recover first. She is out of danger and stable but doctors are advising her to rest for some time. If someone has deliberately hit the car then will register the case accordingly,” he said.

Malik was also set to travel to Norway to participate in the Oslo Freedom Forum, a unique global affairs conference that takes place in Norway every year. This year some 200 people who have changed, are changing or could change the world from across the globe have been invited at the event. Mukhtara Mai has also been previously invited to the event. However, Malik had to turn the invitation down due to the demands of her schedule.

Malik, who has acted in Pakistani films and on two popular political satire shows, became a household name after her relationship with cricketer Mohammad Asif surfaced. Her participation on the Indian reality television show “Bigg Boss” and subsequent stance against her critics increased her popularity in India and Pakistan.
Malik is not the only star from the entertainment industry to have suffered a mishap on the roads. Pakistani musician Rahat Fateh Ali Khan also met with a road accident recently when he was on his way to Chicago from Detroit.

To Tie The Knot?

Picking up her romance from reality TV with Ashmit Patel, Veena Malik has decided to buy a house in the city.

Her romance with Ashmit which played out on national TV in Bigg Boss season 4 shocked and amused many. And now after Malik has already been introduced to her rumoured boyfriend's parents and partied with sister Amisha, she has bought a home for herself in Mumbai.

Confirming the news, Veena says she wants a lot of extra rooms in her apartment. Not only for shoes, we are guessing!

She admits Patel is indeed very special to her and she has grown very fond of him. He is undoubtedly the 'most dialed number' on her list.

Wedding bells ringing? To this the actress wittily replies "...marriage is like death, you never know when it strikes."

Veena Malik had been threatened by the militant group Taliban

Veena Malik has ruffled many a feathers in the past, almost with nonchalance, but possibly even she didn't anticipate that she might end up offending one of the most dangerous Islamist militia groups, the Taliban. And the reason for this is, well, India.

The actress recently claimed that she had been threatened by the militant group Taliban. Malik apparently received a letter from Islamist group via a media house in Pakistan, the representatives of which confirmed the authenticity of the source, reported The Express Tribune.

The actress says the letter has been sent from a Ahmed Masood of the Taliban. The contents of the letter threaten to give Malik ‘exemplary punishment for her work in India’, she claims. In fact, the letter even threatens her family and Malik declared that if anything happened to them she would hold the government responsible.

The actress shot to the centre of controversy when she gave match-fixing evidence against her former beau cricketer Mohammed Asif. She then hit headlines with her intimacy with co-participant Ashmit Patel on Indian television show Bigg Boss.

She is currently in India appearing on television shows for the cricket World Cup and is reportedly getting security from Indian authorities. She will soon be informing the Pakistan authorities of the situation as well.

Veena Malik is back, and this time, her dance number is possibly longer than her previous appearances on Bigg Boss.

Veena Malik is back in yet another Indian cricket-based reality TV show, ‘Bigg Toss’, and this time, her dance number is possibly longer than her previous appearances on Bigg Boss.

According to the video description, 12 contestants will be pitted against each other to “cash in on the World Cup fever” with the centre of attraction being “television hotties, Veena Malik and Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant.”

With such star power and a few more dance numbers, this show is likely to be yet another major hit. We can definitely expect thousands of eager, perhaps mortified Pakistanis to be scouring through YouTube for more clips of Malik as the show progresses.
Video rating: two thumbs way up for clubbing cricket, reality TV and starlets together.

Veena Malik makes it to Twitter trends

Veena Malik took Pakistani Twitteratti by storm Friday night, reaching the top ten Twitter trends worldwide following her exclusive interview on Express News’ programme “Frontline with Kamran Shahid”, after her return to Pakistan from India.

ProPakistani, the Pakistani telecom and IT news website, reported that Veena Malik became the first Pakistani woman ever to trend on Twitter worldwide.
Malik’s much controversial participation on the Indian reality TV show “Big Boss 4″ had created much debate in Pakistan, with many accusing her of “not representing the Pakistani woman” on an international forum. There had been a surge of shows, articles and statements condemning her participation and performance on “Big Boss 4″.

Mentions of Veena Malik on the Twitter timeline on Friday started at 8pm when a private television channel aired a show discussing Malik’s participation on “Big Boss 4″. The mentions spiked when Express News aired an interview with her at 10pm. While many Twitter users came out voicing their appreciation for the stance she had presented on the show, others condemned Malik for her performance.

Ameesha Patel calls Veena Malik a fake

It is reported that actress Ameesha Patel was shocked to see Pakistani actress Veena Malik, at her brother Ashmit Patels's Birthday bash. The actress tried her best to avoid Veena throughout the celebration.

Ameesha seemed to be very miffed about the fact that Ashmit was over-bonding with Veena in the party. She disagrees of Ashmit's choice and love interest. Ameesha placed her dislike for the sensuous beauty Veena openly on the socail networking site twitter by re-tweeting “@ameesha_patel hi Ameesha. Must let you know that @veenasmalik is a fake. Pls RT to acknowledge. From a fan in the UK."

While, Ashmit accepting that he wished he could have done something with Veena Malik on Bigg Boss 4 (when asked about the rumours of his having sex with Veena in the house), Ameesha has very less chance to convince her brother. Looks like the beauty of Veena has already taken control of the man in the Patel family.

'Cheap Veena Malik is denigrating Pakistani women'

Pakistani actress Meera is not happy with the way her fellow actress Veena Malik conducted herself on Colors' reality show "Bigg Boss 4" and accuses her of portraying Pakistani women in poor light.

"Veena Malik is acting very cheap. The way she presented herself in front of Indian audiences is not right. She is denigrating the image of Pakistani women. This is not how women in Pakistan are, " Meera, who is in India to shoot for diector Faizal Khan's Hindi movie "Om Allah", told in an interview.

Her liplocking courted controversy after people in Pakistan raised objections and she was apparently fined for this. But right now she feels Veena has crossed all limits.

"If you come over to Pakistan, you will see how sensible and how cultured Pakistani women are. They respect their family values and are not how Veena has portrayed herself, " said the actress who herself became
controversial after her kissing scene with with Ashmit Patel in her Bollywood debut "Nazar".
Veena came into limelight after her name popped up in match-fixing allegations against Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif. She was the cricketer's girlfriend. She then entered the "Bigg Boss" house and her intimacy with Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel caused quite a stir, sending the TRPs soaring.

Meera alleges Veena's behaviour is a lousy way to garner publicity.

"She's doing all this because she is hungry for fame. She has no self-respect and is ready to do anything to become famous, " Meera said.

"She's like that even in Pakistan. She tries to copy everyone. She can never be her own self. This is not the right thing to do as there are many other nice ways to become famous. Why stoop down to cheap tactics, " she asked.

Meera claims she was also approached to be a part of "Bigg Boss" twice, but she refused it.

"I was approached to be the part of the show before and even for this season but when I came to know that Veena will also be a part of it, I refused, " she said.

Apart from Veena, the fourth season of "Bigg Boss" featured well-known Pakistani cross-dresser Begum Nawazish Ali.

After "Nazar", Meera featured in another Bollywood moive "Kasak" with Lucky Ali.

After doing "Kasak" in 2005, this is Meera's first Bollywood movie in five years.

"After 'Kasak', I went back to Pakistan. Later my parents did not allow me to act here as I was too young and they thought I might just fall for someone here (India) and get settled permanently, " she said.

"Moreover, the tension between India and Pakistan also kept me away. But now I am back and hope to sign more Bollywood projects, " she said.

Back home, Meera has been actively involved in charity work and has been working with former cricketer Imran Khan to raise funds for Pakistan's flood-affected victims.

"We would like to rope in Rani Mukerji for helping us to raise funds for the flood-affected victims in Pakistan. I plan to meet her during my trip here, " she said.

She has also expressed a desire to do charity work with Salman Khan and his Being Human organisation.

Veena Malik in Jism 2 ?

Actress turned filmmaker Pooja Bhatt has delivered one of the most sexiest Bollywood movies in 2003, Jism, starring Bipasha Basu and John Abraham. A perfectly in shape model John debuted in Bollywood with this movie and became a craze among the youth. The sizzling chemistry between Basu and Abraham rocked the viewers and the film was a roaring hit.

There were talks regarding a sequel of this movie earlier but nothing materialized. It is probably because they could not bring John and Bips together anymore for repeating their seductive act. Now again, the talks are rife about Jism 2 and Pooja Bhatt is seriously thinking about the lead cast, who can replace the hot couple.

There was a buzz that Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez of Aladin fame has been approached to enact the leading lady. But this did not go well with the Jism and they openly expressed their displeasure over her name on a microblogging site. Pooja Bhatt also rubbished reports saying that they never thought of Jacqueline.

However, fans have suggested a very good option for Jism 2. Most of them have suggested the name of Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who has been popular in Bigg Boss 4 for her sizzling acts with inmate Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel.

Their proximity on camera has grabbed many eyeballs and is being considered as perfect couple to replace Bipasha and John. However, Veena is quite far from a perfect figure when it comes to play a seductress in a movie like Jism 2. If she is considered seriously then she will require losing some extra kilos that she keeps showing frequently.

However, Ashmit is quite good in shape and has been seen working out with Hrishant Goswami earlier. But recently, he is behaving like a sick person and does not look to be in a very good shape. However, he can enact the role perfectly because Ashmit is often seen drooling over Veena and that is very much required for the role!

The party’s just started

Model Hrishant Goswami , who was ousted from the Bigg Boss house on Friday, says he is glad he’s out. “There was no alcohol in the house and I couldn’t sleep enough because we couldn’t sleep in the day time,” he says.

Goswami, who was the object of Pakistani actor Veena Malik’s affection, says he only saw her as a “good friend”. “We started off with our share of fights, but she ended up liking me. For me, it is only friendship. I want to focus on my career,” he says. While he maintains that he did not get attracted to any woman in the house, he admits, “I got to meet Pamela Anderson, which was great. And, of course, I liked Kareena when she entered the house ... but that’s it!”

Goswami is now looking forward to having a blast with actor Ashmit Patel, who he befriended in the house. “We are going to meet up and have a blast together; our camaraderie was for real,” he says. Asked who, according to him, is the most clever person inside the house, Goswami says, “Manoj Tiwari. He is a true politician.”

Veena Malik loves Hrishant!

Ask actor Ashmit Patel in celebrity reality show Big Boss 4. He moved on from tele star Sara Khan to Pak beauty Veena Malik and now Veena says that she likes model Hrishant Goswami.

What an insult!

Veena first woos Ashmit and then tells him to go and tell Hrishant that she loves him.

Hrishant is the winner of 2004 Gladrags Manhunt. He has been quietly scoring some 283 points and is an average player in the Big Boss.

He is a perfect goat for Veena, who is desperate to stay put in Big Boss.

Meanwhile, actor Dolly Bindra has asked Veena to open her heart to the man Veena says she 'currently' loves.

But Hrishant does not want to be in cross-border love affair.

He says that Veena is 'cute' but he is 'not interested'.

May be, he is once slapped and twice shy...if viewers remember!

Bigg Boss 4: Veena Malik attacks Ashmit Patel

After placing match-fixing allegations on ex-boyfriend and Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif and unceremoniously dragging Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra's name in the international cricket scandal, Pakistani starlet Veena Malik seems to have surprisingly turned her attention towards Bigg Boss co-participant Ashmit Patel this week.

Ashmit, a favourite with girls on the reality show, has currently been given a kitchen task of cleaning dishes in the Bigg Boss House. But when he stressed on cleanliness of utensils, out of the blue, Veena suddenly lashed out at him.

"Aap ko bahut shaq hai baat karne ka, aur main yahan pe relax kar rahi hoon... Go.... Apna kaam karo... mujhpe ehsaan kar rahe ho kya."

When Ashmit started to leave the argument, saying he's going for a workout, Veena shouted at him again, "Meri bala se workout karo... I don't care," she shot and added, "Jhoothe bartan dhota hai, toh khana bhi toh khata hai."

From the looks of it, Veena gives more significance to tiffs over emotions of the co-participants on the show.

Ashmit's publicist Dale Bhagwagar agrees. "Veena is just a drama queen. She talks about tehzeeb and integrity, but seems to do everything for effect," he remarked.

Undoubtedly, Veena's attention-seeking antics are questionable, but the irony is that such cocky behaviour has also come to be known as a necessary evil for reality shows, so it has to be tolerated by the other participants.

"Ashmit is a responsible person. He might get upset on the spur of the moment, but I'm sure he will get over this volley of words and bounce back with dignity," Bhagwagar added.

It will be interesting to watch how far Veena's 'stings' will take her on Bigg Boss. As far as the viewers are concerned, they seem to be lapping up every bit of the drama, as much as they are enjoying host Salman Khan's dabangg moves and jibes.

Bigg Boss 4 - a pot full of controversial names

The line-up of contestants for "Bigg Boss 4" has a Pakistani terrorist's former lawyer, a thief-turned-detective, a former dacoit, a Pakistani cross-dresser and others. It's no wonder Colors chose Bollywood star Salman Khan to host the reality show, where controversy seems to be the ticket for entry.

It seems the "Bigg Boss 4" house in Lonavala, at the outskirts of Mumbai, might end up being quite a pot full of controversies this year with inmates like Mumbai terror attack accused Mohammad Ajmal Kasab's former lawyer Abbas Kazmi; thief-turned-detective Devinder Singh alias Superchor Bunty; actor Ashmit Patel, who was involved in an MMS scandal; and Rahul Bhatt, who was friends with David Headley, accused of scouting targets for Mumbai attack.

There will be fireworks in the house with former woman bandit Seema Parihar, who had allegedly killed 70 people and abducted over 200 before surrendering to the police a few years ago, joining others.

Some controversial names from across the border like Pakistani actress and former girlfriend of fast bowler Mohammed Asif, Veena Malik, and Pakistani cross-dressing diva Begum Nawazish Ali will also spice up the reality show, especially when they will be sharing the same house.

The show's glamour quotient will shoot up with TV actresses like Shweta Tiwari and Sara Khan, former MTV Splitsvilla contestant Sakshi Pradhan and model Aanchal Kumar. Also, joining the inmates will be Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari, model-turned-actor Sameer Soni and model Hrishant Goswami.

The 14 participants will be spending three months sans any communication with the outside world. They will clean wash rooms, will wake up early morning and survive on limited food.

The participants are not allowed to carry mobile phones and there will be no clock in the house which will be constantly under surveillance of about 50 cameras.

As compared to the earlier editions of the show, the set up of the house has been changed along with some rules. There will be no walls, no separate bedrooms for male and female contestants respectively and there will be cameras and microphones in wash rooms.

The colour scheme is brighter with yellow being the dominant shade of the interiors.

Every week a participant will be eliminated, and the one who survives till the end will be the winner.

The launch episode of the season saw a melange of participants taken on a guided tour of the house by Salman, who even performed later on songs from his hits "Dabangg" and "Wanted".

The contestants for the fourth season put up sizzling performances before entering the "Bigg Boss" house.

"Bigg Boss 3" winner Vindu Dara Singh and former contestants like Ravi Kishan, Bakhtiyaar and Tanaaz Currim, comedian Raju Srivatsav, were also present at the launch, and some like Kashmera Shah and Sambhavana Seth even performed.
